“Service is a little confusing… English is VERY obviously NOT their first language. They have a different way of doing things, which, having been there only twice, I am still getting used to. But they were not unfriendly, and nalso are from a different culture so I just personally chalk it up to my own ignorance and enjoy the food. Which I have to say, personally, the FOOD MAKES IT ALL WORTH IT! This stuff is UNREAL! SO good! Full of flavor, fresh, seasoned just PERFECTLY! They have salt and pepper on the table, but I have NO IDEA why! Skip the Baklava… the ONE bad egg. Tried the Napoleon (?) , or I think they called it the “Honey Cake”. Whatever they called, I call it TO DIE FOR! Perfection on a plate!!! Point is: if you can forget the rough edges and FOCUS ON THE FOOD… you will have a great meal, if you can’t, skip this place. The menu has a true name to those of us who don't want to butcher the language name for the foods. Example: cheese pies. It is in a strip mall but don't let that deter you.“

I went back 3 days in a row since my hotel was only 5 minutes away.I've tried the normal Gyro, Titan, Ares, Chicken soulvaki, and am taking the Chicken Philly and Dolmades home for tomorrow. All of them were great and would get again.I also tried their Baklava, which lives up to everyone else's reviews. I got the spanakopita, which is amazing dipped in the Tzatziki dip.The owner is a sweetheart and took care of me each day I was there. “7/7/23Long overdue post that I kept forgetting to post….I came here with my husband as we were craving Mediterranean and were in the area.We were greeted immediately upon entry and seated. The waiter brought us water and took our order. I love when a restaurant just gives water as if to encourage people to drink more water. We ordered: appetizer sampler for two which was a generous portion and we enjoyed sampling each various appetizer option. We also ordered pan friend veal liver because we’re crunchy like that and wanted to try it. It’s delicious! Definitely get it! Lastly we had the Adana kebab. Everything was delicious and quickly made. Our waiter Savas was great! We also enjoyed some Turkish coffee and that made our experience even grander. This ambiance is awesome, the service is top tier and so is the food. 10/10 recommend!“

“One of our go to favorite restaurants for date nights. Consistently excellent every time. The beef kabobs are out of this world!!!! Very tender and full of flavor every time. Love the hot pita bread and sauce. Greek salad is fantastic. Sibel is such an attentive waitress. We have never been disappointed! “My wife and I ordered takeout. We arrived at the restaurant about 10 minutes later and our food was ready for us. I had the lamb gyro and my wife had chicken shawarma on rice. Both meals were bomb bomb! Generous portions, and lots of meat. Staff here is always friendly too! One of our favorite local spots.“

The food from Ali Baba Mediterranean Grill was great, but the service was fantastic and the circumstances of how I got my order delivered were unbelievable to me and the reason I am writing this review. I ordered my food via Gubhub and somehow my order was tagged for pick up and not delivery. It was a horribly cold day with 3 to 4 inches of snow in Cincinnati. I don't live in Cincinnati. I was in a customer meeting and saw I had missed a local phone call. I stepped out of my meeting and when I returned the call I talked to the owner of Ali Baba and he informed me the order I submitted was placed for pick up. I thought my lunch plans were ruined and my lunch was not going to get delivered. To my surprise and amazement the owner told me he was going to deliver my lunch order himself. My location was over 3 miles away from his restaurant and the temperature was 11 degrees and the roads were slushy and snow covered. I insisted to pay for the delivery and he pleasantly refused and quickly delivered my lunch. Best customer services ever!!“
“I came here for the buffet for ramadan after a horrifying experience at hummas and pita grill. This place was amazing the food was very high quality with an overwhelming amount of options and everything was hot and fresh. Some honorable mentions from the food would be the fries, they were crispy, hot, and well-seasoned, and the fruit bar the fruits were fresh,sweet, and delicious making an amazing dessert. The employees were super nice and over all an amazing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this over the place hummus and pita grill. Well done very impressed.“

As for the food, I can't speak to the authenticity but it's pretty good food and reasonably priced.Strongly Recommend: fish and beef shikh kebab. Kharcho soup and Uzbek pilaf were interesting too“
