Village Pantry!!! What a great staff and delicious food. We just celebrated our wedding with about 150 guests and boy did we get some compliments on the food. Everything was fabulous from the food, clearing of tables and packaging left overs for us to take home. Heads up, the food is still great reheated!!! The staff was so attentive to my husband and I, getting us drink refills at the head table. I felt very VIP. Thank you Village pantry from initial talks, month out meeting and working with us to make our vision a reality.

I highly recommend The Village Pantry as a wedding caterer. The food was great and the service was excellent! We had buffet style but I still felt all the servers took care of us and all of our guests with whatever we needed. Definitely check them out if you are still in need of a caterer!

In general, she was a joy to work with! We loved the tastings each month. It made wedding planning fun trying food in a relaxed manner and being able to try so many different options. We loved that there was so many options available to choose from. The day of, the food was incredible! People are still raving about it! Thank you so much for being the easiest vendor to work with and making our wedding day so perfect! And a special thanks to Marisa!!

Village Pantry catered our Holiday Thanksgiving meal in our neighborhood for 120 people and the food was AMAZING! They had roasted carved turkey, stuffing, potatoes, roasted pork, corn pudding, salad, cranberries- ALL of it was wonderful. Not one complaint from any of the guests. We also hired 3 of their staff for serving and they were all professional. I would highly recommend them for your catering event.

They always have excellent food and service. The company I work for has used them for multiple occasions throughout the year. This year we needed Thanksgiving food for 3 locations last minute and they were happy to help. Thank you!

We used Village Pantry catering for our wedding in Cincinnati - Not only was the cocktail hour and wedding reception food AMAZING, but one of the Village Pantry employees, Cathy, went above and beyond in so many ways for us that night. Cathy made sure we had our dinner early during cocktail hour so we were able to eat, refilled our drinks and checked in with us several times, and even helped my mom and Aunt with my dress bustle. Out of the entire wedding, Village Pantry was absolutely one of the best choices we made, and we were so glad to have them on our special day! We paid for wedding catering, but received so much more in service than we ever could’ve imagined. Thank you for making our day amazing! Save yourself the time and book them!

Can't thank Cathy and Village Pantry staff enough for the fantastic job they did on my daughters wedding this past weekend!!!! We had an outdoor venue with 240 people, it all went seamlessly! They even did table service for the bride and groom. They accommodated all my last min changes with head count and dietary restrictions. All the staff that night were fantastic, very easy to work with. Food was delicious with so many options to choose from. Definitely check them out and they have their own venue RSVP Event Center!!!

Here is a timeline of our experience with Village Pantry: We went to them to taste food for our wedding very early-on. Their food at the tasting was great and they provided great customer service. We locked in what we wanted after the tasting, and they provided a document confirming what we wanted. We also committed to a pre-wedding meeting to discuss the specifics. The day of the wedding arrived and the food ranged from decent to really great. We received a fair share of compliments from our guests. However, we had several issues that I'll post in a list below.-We requested our leftover hors d'oeuvres to be packed up for us to take back. A few minutes before the reception began, a team member from VP brought us the remaining hors d'oeuvres and asked what we wanted to do with them. We requested them to be placed in the bridal suite so we could take them back after the event. When the reception ended, we went back and noticed all of the hors d'oeuvres were gone. We sent an email to Jill about this (and other concerns) and her response was a bit cold. She initially said that we didn't order enough and there were no leftover hors d'oeuvres period. Using our experiences, witness testimonials, and math, we proved our case to Jill. She didn't really respond to this issue directly, but told our vendor to refund us a portion for the hors d'oeuvres. We are appreciative of the refund but that comes across as a "let's shut them up by giving them money."-We had 2 guests with dietary needs. 1 was a gluten-free vegetarian and the other was a gluten-free vegan. Jill said that they would both receive an accommodation meal with a salad. Flashforward to our wedding day. Our guests come up to us and tell us that they never received an accommodation meal and had to "nibble potatoes" off the buffet. This caused a bit of anger, but I personally went up to a VP team member and asked if they had anything for our guests. She wasn't sure and the request caught her off-guard, but she went in the back and was able to make a pepper dish for them to-go, but no salad. I also brought this concern up to Jill. She said she spoke with the captain on duty for the shift and said he spoke with my guests about asking for their accommodation meals with VP team members near the buffet. They both told me that no one approached them and talked with them. This tells me that either the captain lied or they told other guests that. Regardless of which outcome, this was unacceptable. Jill also never replied to my salad concern for them.-We requested pesto-swirl mashed potatoes as a side. It turns out that we were all given regular mashed potatoes. We also brought this up with Jill. She admitted that this was a slip-up on their side, as they recently changed their pesto-swirl process. We appreciate the honesty, but we would have selected an alternative side if we were going to get regular mashed potatoes.-A VP team member also was in the process of removing our nearly-full plates from our table when we stepped away to talk to people. We stopped her from walking-off with them, but she returned them without any napkins for us.-We also placed cards on all tables, naming each table after different locations. This also included the buffet table. The VP team removed the card we left there, even though there was enough room for it on the table. That was disrespectful regarding our wedding vision.Overall, we recommend most of their food, but we do not recommend them as a wedding or event catering partner, unfortunately.

Village Pantry was our wedding caterer and they were wonderful! Staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was great. Jill was very easy to work with and on top of everything.Hors d'oeuvres highlights we heard about after our wedding: the mini stuffed new potatoes and the boursin and spinach stuffed mushrooms.

I used Village Pantry's catering service for my wedding in June. I received so many compliments from our guests about how delicious the food was! I personally thought it was fabulous as well :)When I booked with Cathy, she was consistently in communication with me and made sure all of the details were ironed out leading up to the wedding day. She gave me very helpful advice when I couldn't make a decision and helped me make my vision come to life.Village Pantry was extremely professional and the team that helped on our wedding day went above and beyond! They set up everything so nicely and even packed up things that didn't belong to them (our cake topper, chargers, top of the wedding cake).I HIGHLY recommend booking with Village Pantry. The food is spectacular and their service is of the highest quality. Thank you for making the most important day of our lives truly unforgettable!
