We had a fabulous dining experience at The Skyway East. From the delicious appetizers to our main course and dessert, it did not disappoint. I was amazed at the main menu selections. One was more impressive than the next. I wish we could have sampled everything. Oh, and the bar selection was top-notch. Overall, a 5 star restaurant including the atmosphere, service, and of course the meal.

A great meal and service. We drove in for the last hurrah meal. Had our first date here back in 1984.

We celebrated our 35th anniversary there. Debbie , our waitress, was wonderful. Very friendly and took wonderful care of us. We had the prime rib, which was outstanding I’ve read other reviews which claim the decor is dated, I find it to be charming and I love that Mansfield has this wonderful supper club. A far cry from the same old chain restaurant. A wonderful night!! Thank you!

Hey You

This place is awesome!Sadly by the time you read this the place most likely is no more.My understanding is they will close by the end of October 2022.

The best rib eye steak period! I don't recommend anything here except steak. Our party of 8 had many different dishes and the steak is the best in the Midwest. Excellent service. Good salad bar. Popular spot in the Mansfield, Ohio area.

We love the atmosphere and the food is good as well. The Skyway is just as I remember it 20 years ago, and i hope that it doesnt change. Eating here brings back memories of loved ones that i came here with, that are no longer with me.

Step into a nostalgic restaurant for a wonderful meal. Our party of 4 enjoyed the attention of all the staff. Our glasses were kept filled, Step into a nostalgic restaurant for a wonderful meal. Our party of 4 enjoyed the attention of all the staff. Our glasses were kept filled, dishes were cleared promptly, and every need was met. The Prime Rib was meaty, tender, and mouth watering. The Walleye was was a generous portion. Entrees include salad,? soup, or salad bar, and a crusty bread. We savored each bite. The bar was fairly full and many had meals at the bar. We had a delightful experience and look forward to going back to work through a diverse menu. Daily specials too, including drinks. ??

I got a piece of prime rib. I noticed right off that it had a strange smell. I only ate a little then pushed it aside. A few hours later I had a fever and uncontrollable shaking. After going to the doctor, they did determine it was food poison. It was my first time there, obviously I won't be going back. I'd stay far away from this place

Everything that we have had here has been great. The service is always right on spot. I'm not sure where you get the bread from but, it is spectacular.

Dining and real service like we once enjoyed. Something for everyone. Delicious food, full bar and wine list and a salad bar that is fully stocked meets all expectations.

This is our go-to place for our anniversary dinner. Once again, they did not disappoint. Service was great, attentive but not intrusive. My filet was one of the best steaks I've ever had and Rita's lobster was also top quality. Recommend Skyway to anyone looking for a special event dinner.

Travelling to and from Columbus we never came across The Skyway East because it is not off the interstate, but rather off the lesser traveled State Route 30. I only learned about it recently from reviews on Tripadvisor; what a wonderful restaurant! As you walk in you feel as if you have traveled back in time to a steakhouse from the 50's or 60's -- tufted leather (well, maybe vinyl) seating in the booths, linen covered tables, an alcove with dim lighting to set the mood. We had reservations and were led to our table that had personalized matchbooks with our name -- when is the last time you saw that? Some of the decor was a little dated, but that was part of the charm; even our server had been there for 42 years. The service was very good, the food was excellent and reasonably priced, and the cocktails were a blast from the past -- Zombie, Purple People Eater, etc. My wife's Long Island Iced Tea was the best she ever had -- for $6.25 -- and I had a generous pour of 12 year old Glenlivet for under $10.00. Oh, and don't forget the desserts -- home made blueberry lemon cheesecake -- yum! This was our first visit to Skyway East but will not be our last. Take the road less traveled and see for yourself.

So I wanted to like this place so much but unfortunately I didn’t first I felt uncomfortable with the way a lady that worked there kept staring at me I even smiled at her and give me a dirty look I ordered the lamb chop with the lobster tail and I ask for my lamb medium and it came almost rare I lost my appetite all I ate was half of the lobster tailThe waitress said she was going to talk to the manager about it then she took my baked potato the manager came over and said that he couldn’t do anything cause I was taking it home I told him no I wasn’t that I didn’t want it plus I did finish the other things I also told him that the waitress took the baked potato back then he says all I can do is take $8 off for the lambI know that the lamb cost more then my husband looked at me to not argue I mean how are you taking just $8 off if all I ate was half of the lobster I will definitely not be back

We celebrated our 59th anniversary at this restaurant this past week and to say the least the food was disappointing . The perch was dry with many bones and for the price we should have gone elsewhere. Our last name was completely spelled wrong on the matches. Not that this was important, but for such a Special occasion, one would think a place like this would give more attention to details.
