My family and I went out to eat last night and it was our first time back since they opened back up. This place is basically our #1 spot to eat at and we’ve always loved what we ordered. Last night when we went, we always know what we want so we don’t go over the menu. My husband wanted the pulled pork dinner with the Texas toast and a side of fries. Come to find out that the server told us that they don’t serve Texas toast anymore and that it comes with a corn muffin. Corn muffin with pulled pork doesn’t even sound appealing to us. We seen someone else have Texas toast with I believe it’s called boathouse club. We talked to the server and she went to talk to her manager and came back and told us that he can get it but it would be a up charge. I think it’s was an up charge of like $2, which the $2 didn’t bother us. It was just the fact that they changed the menu and instead of wanting the corn muffin he wanted the Texas toast and we had to go through a little hassle to get it. We are regulars there at the restaurant and have never complained about the food ever. The server told us that the menu gets changed every spring. We’ve been going here for the past couple years and never noticed that. Instead of changing the menu up Mr Peter’s, please reconsider just adding new and different options for people and still keep the dinners as it was. Especially for picky eaters. It’s deterring my husband from wanting to come back because of this change. ?

Stopped here on a cold January day and it didn't disappoint. Local BBQ located on the Ohio River in Marietta Ohio since 2007. They have a very diverse menu- ranging from salads, wings, shrimp, soups, sandwiches to their BBQ platters. I had the grown up grilled cheese which had bourbon bacon jam, American and cheddar cheese and I added pulled pork all on Texas toast. It was very good and filling. They bring a selection of different sauces which was fun trying the different ones. We had a table overlooking the river which was nice. Would be even nicer once the weather warms up and we could take advantage of the outdoor seating.

Roaches, cold food, slow and careless staff especially when you go in later in the evening a couple hrs before close. Used to love their wood chips. Until the last 3 times we've been there they were cold, mushy, the cheese was stiff there was only 1 drizzle of bbq on it and no bbq caddies around us. Our waitress took FOREVER to come back to our table so we could ask for some. The menus were sticky. There was food reminents on our silverware. There were black specs in my mountain dew. I loved eating here once upon a time. Not anymore. We won't be back ?

Everything was amazing aside from the people we were seated next to. We ended up asking to move to a different spot bc they were very loud, drunk, and were saying some pretty gross things.The food was amazing both quality and quantity. The service was friendly and quick. We will be back

Owner/Management tried to blame roaches and nasty comments and videos taken by former employees by saying those were old pictures and videos. But time stamps were ignored. It’s easy to clean everything up when you know the inspector is coming around. Then to try to blame the roaches for coming in the vegetables you order? That’s actually insane and would be a health code violation that would shut this business along with the supplier down. Take some accountability and admit you were wrong and grow from it.

OMG the brisket waffle fries appetizer is to die for. The brisket.. chicken..rib..and sauce best I ever had...wash it down with a cold beer right on the river large portions very well priced. We are from Lancaster and will be back.
Decided to go to Boathouse BBQ for our first date. Atmosphere was nice, if a little dim. But that served to add to the romantic ambiance. Our server was very nice and gave us plenty of time to peruse the menu. Food came out hot, delicious, and perfectly seasoned. When my boyfriend accidentally knocked over his drink, staff were quick to clean it up, and asked if everything was okay.Overall, the food was amazing, the staff were nice and accommodating, the atmosphere was lovely, and we had a great timeParking: Parking spots line the front of the building, stretching past either side. There is standard and handicap parking available, and if the parking lot is full, there's plenty of space on the other side of the street
