I was placed here with a corporate team who stay in hotels across the country for weeks at a time. Upon arrival, my company sent the wrong list of guests and room counts, luckily Cynthia was working the front desk, because while sorting out my company mess-up, other guest were arriving. Cynthia had it all sorted and everybody in their rooms before the other guests even realized that there was such a big mix-up. The only reason im writing a review is because I want Cynthia to know that even though my team is a bunch of nitpickers who kept her on her toes (and she didn't even loose her upbeat cool), I really appreciate her hospitality. Thank you, Cynthia

Negligence in hotel room. I received a room with a cracked sink. After dropping small item into sink while brushing teeth, the sink shattered. Me leg was cut wide open. I called down around 5 am to front desk to make them aware. I was told he was “not an emt so take care of it.” I told him there was blood all over room because of broken sink and he said “you will not be charged for it.” He hung up, no accident report filed or check up call later. Next morning we talk to female manager who apologizes over and over almost like she knew it was broken. I ended up going to the EMERGENCY ROOM at 11 am due to negligence and failure to report an accident. I received 12 stitches in my leg. I check my bank account and was charged for damages. After a heated call to the owner to explain what happened he refused to refund and then blocked my number. A complaint has been filed with Wyndham. Also our room had a moldy ceiling, the elevator smells of methane gas, and my friends room had cigarette burns in her comforter and trash behind her couch.

We were on our way to Wisconsin and looking for a reasonably priced hotel for an overnight. With the Wyndham name attached we decided on this Baymont. The lobby and staff were nice. The check in person was very nice even assisting us in finding a place to eat dinner. The rest of the hotel, however, was not good. The outside door didn't latch so their was no security. Once in the room, my husband said the toilet wasn't flushing properly. Heck it wasn't flushing at all! I have stayed at Wyndhams for years and know the bedding and this was definitely NOT their bedding. The bed was quite hard. When checking out and informing them about the toilet the woman said she guessed she'd have to call a plumber, maybe. I don't know why Wynham would put their name on a hotel until they have gone through it and revamped it. The rooms need a good wash down as well. Also the room rate was $59. By the time taxes and some extra charges were added our bill was over $90. !

We recently stayed at the Marietta Baymont by Wyndham and from check in, to the room, to the bed, to checkout, everything went smoothly. The room was clean and the hotel was very affordable. I would stay here again.

From the dirty feel in the lobby to the tiny, cramped and sweltering elevator to the incredibly bad toilet (no flush and very low) to the dimly lit room, this is no way to say it, this is a crappy hotel needing a total refurbishment. I checked in and checked out. I recommend others nearby,

The staff was great and room was clean and bug free, Housekeeping staff was pleasant and did a great job keeping up over my 3 night visit. Some of the furniture was still functional but a bit damaged or scratched and the bathroom caulk was needing redone, but none of that affected the quality of the stay. Overall a great 3 night stay.

Although we have attended dog shows in Marietta for many years, this is the first time we stayed at this property. It will be our 'go to' from now on! Conveniently located near I-77 and Rt. 7, we had easy access to the town and all it's wonderful shops and restaurants. Our room was spotless and easy access with nearby parking. Had no problem getting a cart for loading and unloading our bags and crates. Lovely grounds with picnic tables and a nice view of the golf course. I can't say enough about the value of this property and the friendliness of the staff.

Dirty room. Not cleaned between guests. Bath tub had dried shaving cream around the bottom of it. No heater and phone was broken. False advertising. No gym and no breakfast. Not even coffee in the morning.

Cant beat the price . I live close and have stayed there twice for a quick get away that doesn’t break the bank. I will be staying there again I’m sure , because of the price , and because honestly it’s as good as anywhere else under 100$

I would not recommend this hotel. We walked in the lobby and was immediately met by two unleashed dogs. The lobby was dark and grungy. After getting our keys we walked down the hall to our rooms and could smell cigarette smoke through our masks. Some doors were slightly ajar which made me feel a bit uneasy. We opened the first room and the bed was unmade and beer bottles everywhere. Our second room was the same. Went to get the manager who looked in the room and commented that someone must have marked it in the computer that it had been cleaned. She offered no apologies, nor asked if she could get us another room. Believe me this place seemed to be a rent-by-the-hour place than a reputable hotel. We immediately left and went down the road a bit and would highly recommend you do the same.

Maybe we stayed in a different hotel than most of these reviews, or rather In being too picky over a place charging $45 a night or half the points during these times, but we left pretty disappointed. Nothing was earth shattering bad, but the place just seemed neglected. It was full of so many little things that irritated us. I.E. 1. The carpet in both rooms was not clean- not just in stains or markings but crumbs/etc from the previous occupants - this was the biggest disappointment as a. you pay $20 (at least per night) for the pet fee and expect yourself to have a clean room b. our small dog ate countless things that were easily missed by housekeeping. Honestly, whoever did our room prior did it in a poor/rushed effort 2. both drains were slow 3. poor maintenance per room (bulb out/ poor paint touch ups 4. No landscaping outside, cut the damn grass and have some pride in your location 5. manager/owner was nice, yet 1. blamed dirty floors on a poor vacuum needing replaced, should probably dress more professional over wearing a white t-shirt just as in waking up from bed 6. the bathroom had quite a bit of hair throughout that was cleaned by myself. 7. the room was humid/damp the whole time- The AC was definately not the most quiet 8. side door locks didnt work (doesnt give me fear but I know some people are paranoid if the hall doors dont lock at night ) -- I doubt much 'additional cleaning' was done due to COVID. We arent ones to have fear in additional cleaning, more so for one to take note if they expect a spotless property. It has great potential, but seems to be winding down on its glory days as a Holiday inn. There is much competition of newer and nicer around the area, so it must continue upkeep to compete.

Easily competes with hotels twice the cost. The hot breakfast was terrific and much more than I was expecting. I enjoyed watching the birds outside as I ate. The bed was extremely comfortable. Loved having the refrigerator and microwave in the room.
