“I took my Mom and brother here for dinner. It was a great meal served by an awesome waitress. She was the highlight of the evening. The food was tasty if a little bit pricey. But all in all it was a wonderful night at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery. I will be back, maybe I’ll see you there.“
“I’ve lived in this town for years and this was my first time here. I keep forgetting that it exists because it’s on the way out of town and it’s a bit hidden by trees. It’s a nostalgic and adorable old drive-in with speaker boxes and a server that brings food to your car. I ordered fried veggies and a root beer float. My friend ordered a pork tenderloin, fried mushrooms and a float as well. Our food was hot, crispy and very good. The floats were perfect. Our server was friendly and efficient. Ordering and the wait to get food took a little while, but they were somewhat busy. I’m glad I finally tried it, and I’ll definitely be back.“
“It's been so long since we've been here. I forgot how good the food and service are. Our server, Brittany, was fantastic, energetic, and super friendly. I ordered the white wine and garlic mussels and the admirals feast with a lobster baked potato and bacon mac and cheese, and my mom got the southwest plate ( I can't remember if that's what it was called or not something similar). The food was amazingly delicious. We will be going again soon.“
“The atmosphere is always welcoming. The staff is very friendly and inviting. Cory was our server for the evening and he was amazing! Kept us laughing, entertained and checked on us numerous times. The best part about his service, was keeping my little one entertained and happy ?“
“When you walk into a diner and it looks like a large living room with tables, you know you've found a good place.Carlyle's is such a place. There was a small wait as it was a Friday, and it was obvious that it was a popular local place. But I was sat quickly, and had already known what I wanted beforehand so ordered the Reuben. It came out quickly, and came with a side of fries. The fries were just about perfect; crispy but not hard, and seasoned but not overly salty. The Reuben was amazing. Everything about it was great, and the dressing was on the side so I could add as much as I wanted.I also got the Kentucky Derby pie, which the waitress described as "Chocolate pecan with chocolate chips" and I was instantly sold. Quite honestly probably one of the best pies I have ever had. I will definitely be returning.“
