!Denny's is temporarily closed!Denny's is yet another example of a chain restaurant in Marion that is horrible. Their food is nasty whether it's dine in or carry out. Customer service is poor! There is no reason to come here and eat. I guess they have been closed by the Marion Health Department for very concerning reasons with food preparation and storage! This place just needs to be closed and dozed.~⚠️EXTREMELY NASTY Denny's⚠️~-Denny's was issued 9 serious health violations! This is why they are temporarily closed. They have to be granted permission by the city health department before they can open back up for business.

This Denny's is average. They have cleaned it up a lot from what it used to be. The quality of the food depends on the day and the service is dependent upon the time of day. The pricing is average. Truly we have no complaints but it just isn't our choice for a go-to restaurant.

Overall a very nice, positive experience. Our waitress was very nice, and we were seated quickly. The food was very good, as were the drinks. It didn't take too long to get food, and the waitress was attentive. Once we had finished and were ready to pay, it did take some time for the waitress to collect payment. Once again, a positive experience. Would definitely recommend for breakfast.Dietary restrictions: There are quite a few gluten free options, which are marked on the menu accordingly.

This place should be bulldozed! Depressing interior...dark...probably hasn't been remodeled in 25+ years! Men's room smelled horrible & leaving its door open is not going to help w/the scent!! Sat for 4, maybe 5 minutes before I was brought a menu. Waitress was ill...she complained about not being well (could hear her from the kitchen) & she was hacking much of time. I highly expected to be ill myself in the next day or 2. Luckily, I wasn't. She should not have come into work that day. Or, @ a minimum, worn a mask! I had pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, bacon & sausage. All were good except I wasn't found of the bacon. Maybe that's why they're still in business here?

My 13 year old son was visiting. And when he heard we had a Denny's. He was over the moon excited.The server was very attentive and knowledgeable in the food was okay.

Food wasn't the greatest my meal the meat was cold, my husband refused to eat his hamburger once he got it due to the flavor being off and not tasting right. There was only one waiter who also brought her children to work with her and was sitting in the booth behind my family. The waiter corrected her children several times which could be heard throughout the restaurant. Another downfall was the toilet in the females restroom didnt work and the environment just didn't seem clean in general. I will not be returning this wasn't an enjoyable time or meal for my family! Wish it would of been different so we could of left with smiles on our faces.

Over the years the service here has been mediocre at best. That is until this past Saturday morning. Our waiter was absolutely amazing. When our hashbrowns came out they were not only burnt but had mushrooms in them. My partner asked for new ones to be made, which they did. The knew ones were great. When we went to pay we were not even going to address the hashbrowns because the situation had been fixed. However, as we were paying the waiter informed the lady checking us out what happened with the hashbrowns. She added a discount to our meal. we increased the waiters tip.

My friend and I went a couple weeks ago at 4am. Our waitress was awesome and so was the cook. Food was great and out on the table in no time. We were pleased! Didn't even put syrup on our pancakes.

I have been going to the same Dennys once every 4-6 weeks for over 10 years and have always had good experiences ... till Thursday, May 25,2023. I was promptly seated, and my coffee served, and the server said she would be right back to get my order. That never happened. I drank my coffee, then my water, watched many servers walk past me with my menu folded up on the table in front of me.... no one stopped, no one offered to find my server. I tried to signal a few but was ignored. I saw other customers come in, order and even get their food, but yet no one questioned why I was still sitting with a menu in front of me and empty glasses. So, after 35 minutes after receiving my coffee, I left. I told the server who was cashing out a customer what happened, and all she could say was sorry. I guess the serving staff of 5 couldn't handle my table of 1 plus the whopping 6 other tables.....

After a local appointment with my spouse, we decided to get a mid-morning breakfast on a weekday. Our original pick appeared to be very crowded based upon the parking lot so we opted for Denny’s.While coffee, drinks and food were all acceptable and served in average time, we couldn’t believe the ongoing tension and bantering back and forth between the wait staff, kitchen and hostess. The public comments and bickering about who would serve which table, what needed to come out of the kitchen and when, who would (or could) check out a customer at the front…all were, frankly embarrassing.If the food wasn’t served up according to order and done so in a timely manner, I would have left a one star. But if I were the owner of this franchise, I’d be embarrassed about the open behavior of my employees. It just goes to show that the restaurant business is still desperate to find workers who will show up & I’ll give them that; they came to work. Otherwise, they gave the business a bad reputation, IMHO, and the owner would be better off with new employees.Next time, we’ll be happy to wait in line at the restaurant down the road

We went to Denny's late last night/early morning. There was only one person working (taking orders and cooking the food.)I can honestly say it was the best customer service I have had in a long time. The guy working definitely deserves from recognition. Despite being the only employee there, he still went above and beyond what we could have expected. The food was also the best we have had in a while. We will DEFINITELY be back there again!!Parking: There is definitely plenty of parking all around the restaurant.
