My son and I were looking for a different pizza place to order from than our usual. I hadn't had east of Chicago for years and he never has had it. So he really wanted to try it. From placing the order to pickup everyone was very nice. We got the pan crust and it was excellent. The sauce was very good. We used a coupon the price was very good for 2 large 3 toppings was only 28.00. We will definitely be ordering from here again soon. Only problem I had was when trying to order on line the only option for payment was credit card. They should have a pay at store option. It was not a big deal though. Just called in the order. I usually do not like to call in an order due to back ground noise, but there was none when I ordered. I could hear him clearly.

The Marion team was so awesome! They helped me plan and execute a pizza party for the Varsity and JV Shelby Women's soccer team, and they delivered. 35 girls, 2 coaches, a bus driver, and some parents too. Thank you!!!

What happened??? I haven't had East of Chicago for several years because we didn't live near one. We recently moved to Marion so I couldn't wait to get my favorite sub! We orderd a 12in deluxe, 6in ham and cheese and nachos. My 6 inch sub was literally all bread and tasted HORRIBLE! The nachos were dry as a bone and had a tiny bit of meat sprinkled on top lol. Never again! I think they have purchased the cheapest ingredients possible. If I wanted bread I would have just bought a loaf from the grocery. I am far from picky so if I say it's bad IT IS BAD!

So disappointed in all of the changes for the worst. Willie is the owner now and I thought for sure things would be better but unfortunately they are not. Aleric took, and forgot our order. The manager who was a women (that refused to give her name), declined any accountability. Willie is never reachable by phone so I’m done with this place. Way too much competition. They will likely close due to poor management.

Person taking the order over the phone was knowledgeable, very friendly. Pizza was good. Sub was good. Cinnamon pastry balls were hard as if they had been freezer burned. We each tried 1 then threw them and the rest, away. Pickup time was very fast. There is no dine-in so the Marion location has no buffet and a fairly small pickup area. Very quiet. Take-out only.

Asked for a Chicago melt pizza , Got a Chicago StyleCalled an asked for a credit. Was told no they could remake it and come take the pizza back I already waited and hour and everything one else has already ate. Just asked for credit!The person on the phone acted like I wanted itFree. As you can see it wasn’t ate. In the trashWhere it belongs.

I love the Chicago style deep dish pizza. East of Chicago is about the only place that consistently makes a good one at a fair price. I got a medium pepperoni, sausage, mushroom deep dish. It was cheesy and extra saucy just like I love it to be! It was done on time and service was fast and friendly. I forgot my coupon and the staff were just going to forget about it and give me the discount anyway. I would recommend East of Chicago- just be aware of what you are paying and what you are getting. It isn't going to be the absolute top shelf quality, but it IS going to be above average at a very competitive price. Their subs are also some of the best for the price, and their salads are also surprisingly good.
