“This is a great place for group dinner- came in with a group of 8 colleagues and we had a great meal. Decided to do the hot pot and BBQ (their rules won't let you mix for the table, so if you all don't want to do BBQ OR hot pot, you have to pay for both for everyone in the party). They have a buffet area with a few appetizers, desserts and a sauce station. Appetizers were ok, and by the end of the meal none of us had room for dessert- so I can't comment on that. Our server was great, explained the process, was very attentive during the meal bringing additional food as needed and advising on how much food was needed. They have plenty of protein options (we had a pescatarian in our group) and veggies. Only thing to note, after a while of the BBQs running, it did get a bit smoky around the table. To the point some of our eyes started watering. But at that point we just asked for the grills to be turned off since we were done using them.“
“Environment is good. Waited 30mins to get a table on Friday night. Suggest reservation before going.Food is okay. Miso soup, yakitori and unaju flavor too strong. Urchin doesn’t taste fresh? My bf ordered tonkatsu and it tasted very good.“
“There were five of us and we each ordered different proteins and we shared. The individualized broth/soup worked well for all of us. I got the Mala's spicy broth that I spiced up using additional schechuan chillies. Everything about the place is what one would get in Chongqing or Chengdu. I love going here during the cold winter days.“
“We have been to many different Tasty Pot locations all over North America. Huge fan of their hotpot. Guaranteed they are all different somehow but this location in Ohio has the same taste that we are used to. 5 stars for that. We order the Beef hot pot most of the time and did order it this time, not disappointed. They also have the sauces on the side of the table. Same selection as what we would expect from Tasty Pot. Service was great, the server was very kind and friendly. Easy parking right outside.Vegetarian options: Veggie Pot“
“This is one of my absolute favorite restaurants. I have to watch my calories and carbs, so hot pot works well for me because I just get protein and vegetables. I’m there almost once a week and I travel 30 minutes to get there, I love it so much! The service is also outstanding. My only critique is that they charge $3.95 for soda water from the fountain. I don’t know any establishment that charges for soda water.“
