We love this great restaurant. The fish dinner was delicious and the generous serving of hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. If you value friendly service and a very clean atmosphere with home cooked meals this is the place. Tracey, the manager welcomed us like we were family.

Service and atmosphere are pretty much what you would expect from a small, local, greasy-spoon type of restaurant. My problem is that I don't know why I keep going there thinking, "this time will be different." My food, once again, arrived cold. "Swiss steak" was more like microwaved-a -long-time-ago chopped steak saved from the bin. Mashed potatoes also cold. Hot gravy poured over top, I guess to make the other items warmer? Why was my appetizer served (cold) with the meal, instead of before it? Why was my veggy the appetizer? Why did the guy who ordered after me get his food first? Oh, yah, because mine was back there on the counter getting cold. Why did I even tip? This time, I am fully convinced that this restaurant will not be getting any more of my money. By the way, I paid in cash. So I don't know who you think you're responding to about the card that was declined but it certainly was not me.

A great old style diner. The breakfast offerings are standard but good. I ordered the chicken fried steak. The meat and gravy were very good, over easy eggs cooked to perfection, and a heaping helping of hash browns, all tasting great. Service was also very attentive. My wife had French toast. The plate was empty at the end of the meal so I think she liked it. : )

Fish was amazing as always! Carrot cake had lots of nuts, not a whole lot of flavor. Maybe I just missed cream cheese frosting.
