Me, my buddy, and my dad visited Beer Barrel while participating in the Maumee River Walleye Run. The food was excellent, consistent all weekend, and - Very well priced!!!!!! The service was 5/5, refills were completed consistently without needing to wave down a waitress. The beer was fresh and cold. The ambience and vibe are one of the best parts about the restaurant!! A Texas Roadhouse esque, Buffalo Wild Wings mix of ambience and comfort even on a packed out Saturday night!!!

Came here with my family few days ago and wasn't impressed with the service. was our first time here and waitress sammi was horrible. She rushed us, didn't offer refills, and when i mentioned it was our first time didn't suggest any food items. the table was really dirty and the floor was as well. don't think we'll be coming back.

We were cold after a walk in the park and just wanted soup. This was our first visit....French onion not too salty, garlic bites a treat and the small Caesar very fresh. The young man at the atrium was exceptionally welcoming and our server friendly and efficient. The "mall" on the other hand appears so sad with many vacant stores.

There were several selections available for food and drinks. The restaurant was clean and well maintained. There were several televisions to watch sports programs. The server Katie, however, is what made the experience. She was very kind and prompt with service. I can see why her name badge had server trainer on it. Highly recommended.

I give them a 4 for their customer service and genuine concern. Their response was prompt, friendly and satisfying.

This is my go to spot when I am in Maumee visiting for work. I have yet to have a bad experience. Always friendly staff, friendly environment and solid food.

This entire review was voice-texted while I was waiting for medical treatment for food poisoning...no joke. Okay, once again, I apologize for reviewing another food chain... as I should be bright enough to realize that no amount of negative yelping is going to change a corporation that is top-down ran from some remote office hundreds of miles away from the actual restaurant, but if Yelp isn't the democratic voice of the culinarily-disenfranchised, I don't know what is. I might not get the $82 I paid to this place back, but at least I can quietly complain into my voice-dictating phone with the hope that I persuade at least one person to listen.Beer Barrel sounded great. The interior looked great. The website menu even looked great. But that's where the greatness ends. The experience simply cannot hold up to it's end of the deal.Despite asking for one of the restaurant's multiple available booths, the hostess insisted on sitting my family of four right next to the apparently oft-used emergency exit which pleasantly welcomed freezing drafts of air to hit my family, all of whom were apparently underdressed for such an occasion. I should've brought my winter coat. The weather was miserable and unfortunately the wait staff seemed to care less. Sitting next to us was a massive, but ironically vacant fireplace. Alas. But the frigid weather became the least of my concerns. One might criticize me for not ordering their namesake pizza, but something drew me to their close-cousin, the "Fresh Sweet Italian Sausage burger." How great is that name? I am admittedly a s***** for marketing. Maybe this order was my fault? The sausage patty had a semi-cancerously-charred exterior with a delightfully undercooked interior. Every bite tore off and chewed like a semi-gristly piece of leather or a soft chewy mess. I'm not certain my mind could send off an alarm bell toward me in either direction: overcooked and undercooked? Regardless, here I am stuck in the hospital hoping for some type of quick fix for my pain. To Beer Barrel's defense, I suppose my sickness could have come at the fault of something else, but my stomach pangs coming at the perfectly timed 45 minute mark after finishing this gnarly masterpiece has me convinced otherwise. My wife's food choices didn't land her in the emergency room, however, it left much to be desired. Her own words: " The salmon cooked on my quinoa bowl was cooked well, however the pickled onions dripping in pickled juice saturated the entire bowl. It was overwhelming. Like, salmon floating in a sea of pickled onion juice. Imagine that."But of all things to complain about, it wasn't the undercooked food, the stomach pains, or the sea of pickled onion juice that convinced me to audio-narrate this review, but the lackadaisical attitude of the entire wait staff. Terrible wait times, empty drinks yearning for refills, hostess refusals for booths, and best yet, the random groups of employees standing around socializing with each other while I sit terrified of being viewed as a Karen for pointing out that my sausage puck of a sandwich is a wee too pink for my liking. My lord, the hospital waiting room can do weird things to your diction.I really wanted to like Beer Barrel. And honestly, I apologize for my scathing words. Like any other negative review I have penned (oops, voiced), I just wish a voice of truth could be found out there, sandwiched between conveniently excited reviews from bots and/or restaurant family members looking to help a business that is probably struggling for a legit and deserving reason. What? You say no one reads your stupid yelp reviews? Then Beer Barrel has nothing to worry about. ;)

This place offers plenty of seating for any size party. There are tv in the corners and can mostly be seen wherever you sit. The atmosphere is a bit noisy. The staff seems friendly. Our service was good. The food was good. The spicy cheese balls were decent. The seafood platter came with plenty of food. They have solid "sides" to choose from. The au gratin potatoes were very good. The spaghetti was ok. Overall not a bad stop. I would return.

We loved our visit. We ordered drinks and got them fast. Service was fast and very helpful when trying to find what was good. She gave great feedback on our order. We got two pizzas. Both ended up being 1,000 times better than we could have ever imagined. Loved the food and all the friendly people working.Parking: Parking lot is off to the side of the building.

We have been here a few times and every time has been a pleasurable experience. The menu is large, but they make each very well. The pizza, salads, reuben, and chicken noodle soup are a few items we like. Nice beer selection and the bourbon bar is excellent!

Beer Barrel is dangerously close to doing this thing that The Cheesecake Factory does, in that it has an 800 page menu, which several types of foods, that is overwhelming, making it impossible to make a decision. Like my dad always says, you can't be great at one thing when you're too busy trying to be alright at 10 things. That said, I have come to enjoy stopping in while I'm at the mall, and I want to begin with a REALLY IMPORTANT TIP. It always appears to be a busy place, but there's a small bourbon room across from the host stand that offers a full bar, full menu, and no one is ever in there. It's only for adults and a fantastic private spot. I get the same thing every time, to start:Flaming SaganakiCrispy Thai Spring rolls Cheese Wedges For our entree we love to split the San Antonio White Chicken Pizza, it can feed two people.

Food was ok. Kinda pricey for what you received. Service was horrible. Actually had to ask hostess to get my drinks. It was easier for her to do that then find the waitress.
