Food was mediocre. Batter on cod was soggy; wagyu burger was ordered medium and arrived well done; kielbasa & pierogies meal literally had five thin slices of kielbasa. Pricey for what you get, very loud, and cafeteria setting.

We used The Blue Heron event center for our wedding and I cannot recommend them enough for your wedding venue. The event managers areAMAZING, our guests absolutely raved about the food, and they take all the pressure out of the day.We dropped off our decorations the day before, they set them up for us, tore down after the event, and packed everything up for us! It was seriously so perfect and our guests were blown away.

It's really hard to say just how much the Blue Heron exceeded any and all expectations. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a wonderful, kind hostess. Taken to our table, we met LEXI. Charming, warm, and friendly would best describe her. Drinks were ordered, and the beer was cold and tasty. The Pretzel appetizer was delicious.It came with cinnamon butter and queso. I had the all you can eat wings. They were meaty and large, cooked to perfection. My wife got the burger and chips. Big and cooked perfectly. Lexi kept the drinks coming. A surprise came in the way of a birthday dessert for my wife. Really really good. The whole experience was awesome, but LEXI made it that much better.Thank you Blue Heron, you made my wife's birthday wonderful.

The food was catered to a charity event in Akron for the homeless. Well I will have to say if I was homeless I would have eaten what was served. I am extremely disappointed with the food. If I but my name out there as a “ restaurant “ I would surely make sure that it at least resembled food. Dried out macaroni and cheese cold meat and baked beans, overcooked pulled pork etc. If this is the way you serve food then you should be embarrassed about charging for it.
