Hubs and I enjoy coming to Don Tequila in Medina! The food is always good, and I love that they have potato options. This restaurant is cozy and quaint. Sometimes I worry I have annoyed the waiters, but they are always sweet.Vegetarian options: They have the typical options, clearly marked, for vegetarian at a Mexican restaurant, but they do list a crab item in the Vegetarian part of the menu.

Always a home run when we visit. Our favorite Mexican restaurant in Medina County. A huge menu selection, extremely friendly staff, and the food comes out super fast + perfect everytime, they always get it right! Also the Margaritas and Sangrias are on point! Super DELICIOUS.

We just had the best time tonight at Don Tequila in Medina. Our server was absolutely outstanding. I didn’t get his name but we will be back every Monday just to see him and get our margs and $1.50 tacos. What a great way to make a Monday something to look forward to. There are a lot of Mexican restaurants in Medina but this one has been my favorite by far! Thank you!!

The regular salsa is straight marinara sauce, fit for spaghetti. I purchased it to-go, served it to my friends, but we couldn't eat it. I have dined in the restaurant in the past, and always had to add more of the bottled sauces to add flavor to the salsa -- now I know why. Their food is phenomenal, just don't have any expectations for the salsa. I spoke with management and tried to suggest more salsa ingredients but he didn't want to hear any of that.
