Cake was stale, waited quite a while to be helped when there were 3 employees staring at me behind the counter dumbfounded.

I asked for balloons on the cake ..they looked like blobs and one member has said they looked like baseball caps. The balloon strings were WHITE on a white icing cake. very disappointed with the decorations.

This is a follow up from yesterday regarding Giant Eagle not having sale items. I spoke with one of the meat guys he literally said that the chicken thighs that were on sale thru Wed. Pretty much never came in or were such a small number they were gone the first day. BUYER BEWARE. They just want our money don't care about us.

When you buy pre packaged Muffins or bakery items etc, they are NEVER cooked..the donuts are godnawful everytime they taste like plastic.. I just picked some muffins up yesterday in an emergency. THE tag says they were made yesterday, exp the 10th. This a.m I opened them and they are STILL wet. But they charge 7$ for 4 under cooked Muffins. I am SO DONE giving this place chances. Staff is consistently rude as well.

Spoiled meat won't be shopping for meats there again. I'm giving two stars because they did refund my money but they fail in the meat department.

Just moved to Ohio and needed to stock my fridge. My first visit to Giant Eagle was a great success. The store seemed overwhelming at first but the staff were quick to guide me through the store. At checkout Mistie told me about the rewards program and suggested I visit the guest service desk and sign up. Mistie gave me a courtesy card to get me any discount a rewards member would receive today. She went out of her way to pack my groceries snd retrieve a larger basket. I will do future shopping at Giant Eagle

I'm changing pharmacies after my 15 minute wait due to two customers taking up the only 2 pharmacy techs with copious amounts of questions. The store can't stay staffed but yes, let's update the self checkout to show just how short staffed the store is. There are 6 self chechouts with red lights flashing but the front end manager was too busy talking to another employee to do her job. The customer service desk was also closed but every hand on deck was helping with a reset. Giant Eagle doesn't care about customer time. They just want stores to look pretty. I'll never shop there again.

Do not recommend having your order picked at Giant Eagle... very poor service and when I called about it no one cares. Green beans look horrible, wasn't given correct items it's a mess.

The store is well stocked and clean, but the check out leaves much to be desired. Only one regular check out ... the line was clear down to the middle of the aisle. So I thought I would go to self check out none of them were working in fact all the lights were flashing and one lady was going around taking care of the problems. No sooner then one light was out another would light up. To long of a wait to get your groceries out of the store. Competition is waiting for your customers with easy check out. I hope you get this problem fixed I would hate to see you close !!

I have been shopping at this store for years. In the last six months curbside has gone downhill. There is something wrong with my order every week. This week I bought organic celery and what I was given should not even be on the shelf for customers to purchase. The store manager, Alan Jordan, received the picture of celery via email and told me the person who pulled my order has only been with them for two weeks. He was going to give me a store credit, but never did. It isn’t the $4.00 in Groceries, it’s the inconvenience of driving 25 minutes to the store and 25 minutes home every week. Not worth the trip!

What a difference a couple of days makes! When I was here on Sunday of Memorial Day weekend, everyone was masked, store was still enforcing a one‐direction shopping pattern, one door for entry, another for exit, etc. Today, both doors open wide, directional arrows gone, social distance markers off the aisle floors (although still at check-out), half the customers unmasked, about a third of the staff bare-faced, unmasked staff ignoring plexiglass barriers, no one disinfecting carts, and no wipes at the entry.... Welcome to the next spike in Covid cases because protocols are being abandoned. The CDC has relaxed their guidelines for the fully vaccinated, but the store ought not to assume that everyone has had their shots. Poor management decision to rush back to "normal."

Looked for specific food other stores don't have.

I was racially profiled tonight at Giant Eagle. The store is Giant Eagle (870 N. Court, Medina, OH). I'm hurt, disgusted; I feel disrespected and humiliated behind what happened and how the manager, Jeffery Armstrong, and his employee Lisa V. handled me.

My husband pre ordered a cassata cake for me for mother's day. First, it was beautiful. There were strawberries and custard inside as should be expected. And the strawberries piled on top looked amazing. But what a huge disappointment the frosting was. Rather than the light whipped cream I was looking forward to, it was frosted in some sort of disgustingly sweet buttercream, which is exactly why I don't eat most cakes. Ugh. Super bummer. I told him after he told me he ordered it that he should have gone to Rito's or Great Scott's, but it was too late. Figured I'd give it a chance. Never again. Cassata cake should have a whipped cream frosting. At least the inside of the cake was good.
