We are always pleased with this restaurant. Lots of good food choices. And it was Wednesday free pie day, so a bonus!

I had the opportunity of visiting the Mentor location today and I was truly dismayed. We each had a salad, which was basically head lettuce that was not even crunchy. The soup of the day was chicken noodle and it had absolutely no flavor. We had asked for coffee and the coffee was provided in a carafe, which probably was left from earlier in the afternoon. The coffee wasn't even hot just warm. After the disappointing meal, we visited the washroom. If I had used the washroom prior to ordering, I would've left! Filthy! The bathroom sink had a puddle of water all around it, with dirty paper towels laying on top. The floor appeared to not have been washed in a very long time. The grout was disgusting. Never going back!

I had the BLT. with fries. The BLT had 6 slices of bacon on it. On rye bread.

Okay I had previously given bakers square a three-star on the food.. .On all my prior occasions I have been immensely happy I was simply unhappy with my most recent visit and I should have made my feelings known at their time.. .I purchased the Cobb salad I think that's the name of it It has avocado bacon and a bunch of other ingredients chicken and this time it had fried chicken the chicken was fried so hard it was almost like croutons It's very disappointing...I've been ordering the same thing for literally years and this was the first bad experience I had but I was remiss and not telling anybody and allowed them to fix it so I adjusted my comments from 3:00 to 4:00 cuz that's just totally unfair...

I don't get there often, but have been going for more years than I care to admit. I think some of the pie recipes have changed, pie was just not nearly as good as they used to be. On the other hand the food is so good! Soups are dynamite!

We were there on Wednesday. Had the best breakfast sandwich ever. Went back on Friday. Ordered the same breakfast sandwich. Nothing like the one I had on Friday. Ham was different. The eggs weren't the same. The waitresses' clothes were dirty. Her apron her black pants and even the back of her pants. We couldn't believe the manager would let her work.Wednesday, it was great.Friday no. I'm not going back. Lost my business.
