This place was absolutely wonderful. We had tried two other places previously, and couldn't get a table. The owner was so kind and caring, taking the time to make recommendations about the rest of our stay, and the food was simply amazing. It felt like we were family even though we had just met. I don't often leave reviews, its rare anymore that a place leaves that big of an impression. This one definitely did. If you are in the area, you would be cheating yourself to not visit.

They support putting book-banners on our city's SCHOOL board. And the candidates they support are awful people who step on the members of our community who needs us most. And since Campola's supports them - make your own assumption on how they'll treat you or a member of your family who may not fit into their mold. My thought is if they can't support us, we won't support them. No problem and everyone gets to exercise free speech. Easy-peasy. Go somewhere else. ✌?❤️Kid-friendliness: Not kid-friendly toward kids/people different from them.

We stopped here to eat on a road trip.The food here was quite good.I got the chicken parmesan, and it was excellent. The chicken was not overcooked and dry, as is sometimes the case with that dish, and the sauce on the spaghetti tasted good, and homemade.My wife got the Spaghetti Aglio Olio with chicken. She enjoyed it quite a bit as well.Our kids split a cheese pizza, which of course they liked.Finally, we got some deserts. The kids each got a chocolate chip connoli, which was quite good and definitely sweet. They loved them.The service here was good, but slow. When we arrived, they were trying to keep everyone seated outside, and it seemed like there were 4 people doing everything (waiting tables, and cooking food). While it is understandable why this would slow them down, it did take a long time for us to get our deserts, and then the check, as a result.

Very quaint family owned restaurant with delicious food. They have limited hours & they do close for winter but it's a hidden gem of Mentor. Staff is always friendly & efficient, even when busy. Dining area is small but during the summer the back is opened up for outdoor eating. Music is great either from speaker or live musicians.

Outside bar and seating was excellent on a Wednesday evening and not many people at 430. Ordered penne and meatballs, meatball sliders, chicken parm, a layered eggplant mess and a calzone. Everyone liked their food except the eggplant. It was too mushy and watery. The owners I believe stopped up but said nothing to us just regulars. That said the staff was very friendly and well informed. I do not think I would go back for dinner. Maybe drinks on the patio. The only reason they got a 4 star is because of the staff.
