Look, I'm not happy that the guy stayed open either, but just because he did doesn't give you the right to give his establishment one star. If you haven't been there, please, don't review it! “I don't drink, so it's surprising that I found myself at this place at 10:30 am one day. I was so excited they had a breakfast menu. I never even looked at the prices because I had to order in a hurry before they stopped breakfast. I ordered the 306 Skillet, and omg, what an awesome breakfast meal. Eggs, potatoes, white gravy, biscuits, so good! I ordered it again to go about a week later, and I knew I had my new favorite dish.Fast forward a couple months later and for the first time, I actually looked at the breakfast menu. FIVE DOLLARS?! I still can't believe what a deal that is. Tell me where you can order a good sized meal for $5? Nowhere that I know of. Today when we went, I had the usual, my bf ordered the special, like a grand slam, and he wasn't really too pleased. This is the 1st time, and we go there for dinner too, that either of us had a complaint. The waitress wasn't the friendliest today, but normally the staff is friendly and accommodating.There is an enclosed patio in the back for smokers, pool table, keno, and plenty of televisions all around the bar.Parking: Lots of parking available, in front and a long the side of the building, or behind there is a nivr sized lot.“
“If you have never been here, it is a very small neighborhood style bar. We went mid afternpps on a Monday in hopes of beating the rush, We did not beat the rush. We ended up sitting at the bar, which is not our ideal but doable. They were busy and it was noisier than what we like. The staff were very attentive and welcoming to everyone. As great as the staff was the food is the star. We ordered the smash burger and they did not disappoint. We have heard and read good things about them, nothing could have prepared us for how delicious they were. The burgers were juicy, piping hot and the best burgers we have had in, well I can't remember the last time. The fries, some of the best we have had in a while s well. We will definitely be back for more smash burgers and to try some of the other food. Probably will get the food to go though.“
“Friendly place with a lot of regulars. The bartenders are great. Today it was Sarah. She's friendly and professional at the same time. The regular menu is predictable but good bar food. But always check out the specials for homemade soups and more. Today I had the special: breaded pork chop with home fries and mixed veggies which was great at 15$. Cozy place. Great juke box. Check the joint out.“
“One of the only true, original dive bars left in Mentor. Stopped in yesterday for the first time in over 25 years and I swear the place hasn't changed. Good cheeseburger still tops the menu. Don't go here if you're looking for a salad!“
