We LOVE the Hooley Pubs! Our second location in the last 2 weeks, such great food and excellent service... I recommend the Nutty Irishman burger and Irish stuffed Boxty - outstanding!

I came in yesterday for St. Patty's day. I called to order curbside. The first thing I will say is that there is NO designated curbside area so I had no idea where to go. I ended up calling and they brought it out to me but I had to wave her down because if not she would have brought my food to another vehicle. My order was over 100 bucks. I got 2 rueben meals, and a Shepard's pie meal, 2 margaritas, and 2 mikes hard lemonades. The bread on both ruebrns was very dark and they were burnt. So we didn't end up eating our sandwiches. And the Shepard's pie would have been amazing if the meat was not overcooked. So while the service is very kind and the atmosphere is great I am very disappointed in the food compared to any of the other times I have eaten here or ordered out.. I will have to look for a new spot now because that was a total let down for our st. Patty's celebration after being in the hospital all day with my mom.
Ordered through Uber Eats so can't speak to the service or atmosphere. I ordered the honey mustard boneless wings and the Hooley Cuban panini with a side of mac & cheese. The wings looked amazing so I was super excited to dive in. Unfortunately, they look better than they are. They aren't disgusting by any means, but they were just blah, boring, not very flavorful. Also, they forgot my sauce which was annoying. The mac & cheese tasted like the plastic container so that was fun. No seasoning and the cheese blend was bland. The Cuban was interesting. They didn't keep it on the press long enough so everything was falling out and the bottom bread was a bit soggy. I'm not sure I'd get corned beef on a Cuban again it was just kind of weird. Not gross, but not exactly good either. Overall it was just ok....

This based on your average Sports bar. This is a very solid sports bar with well above average menu. Has a slight Irish theme. Staff has always been welcoming.
Great food and service even when they're busy as all get-out for the live event nights. All waiters/waitresses will make a solid effort to make sure your food and service is great. Food is always really good. Service usually is as well. But on more than one occasion the hostesses have been some of the rudest people I have ever encountered. They act like they’re sitting people at a snazzy/club bar in downtown LA….Come on. This is a semi-dive bar in Mentor. Get 0VER

The food was wonderful. We had a excellent server, she was constantly there checking on us. Kept our drinks coming and we got our food fast. I wish I could remember her name. What I really noticed was the team work that was going on. I haven't seen that in a long time. After we left my husband realized he left his cell phone. We went back not only did they have his cell phone they also had my wallet in it. Thank you for being so honest.
