Went here for lunch. The chicken lo mein came out quickly and the service was good. Other than the ingredients being different temperature (the chicken was room temperature), everything was fine. The included miso soup was particularly good.

On February 16th at 12pm I got an ordered delivered by Door dash. I ordered an eel roll and 2 combinations dinner. When I opened my eel roll it had two little tiny pieces of what I THOUGHT was hair so I called the restaurant to try and resolve this. They told me maybe my dasher opened my container instead of taking accountability. I was told to call and have door dash resolve my issue and there wasn’t a manager there in the store today. I found this completely unacceptable and will no longer be dining here as they weren’t not two pieces of hair at all they were two tiny pieces of PLASTIC in which I could have coked on if I didn’t spot it in time. I asked the employees if I could have one of their numbers so I could send them pics and they declined. So noooooow I’m forced to leave this review about their poor customer services skills and lack of improper staffing.Dietary restrictions: They put plastic in peoples food, so watch out!!

I am not sure if anyone knows driving past and the sign on the window is misleading. BUT they do have an impressive dining room, and it is not all sushi. Granted they have a great variation of sushi. It was mine and my husbands first trip there Tuesday. We met for lunch, it was AMAZING. I had Pad Thai for my first time ever, the portion was huge, I had some for dinner and lunch the next day. For both of our meals and drinks we spent under $30, which we had subs the day before and it was over that! My ONLY suggestion would be to expand the alcohol choices. It would most certainly help with the dinner business.

Everything was super fresh and flavorfully delicious! Came with my husband and neither of us wanted to share that much because we both enjoyed our own dishes so much! The server was incredibly warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend this place!

I like Maki. In Mentor we have at least 4 solid options for sushi. This one ranks #3 on my list (because they don't have a rainbow roll and that's my favorite roll). The food is of good quality, with prompt & friendly service. I've not been disappointed once. I always take my orders to go (from all sushi spots I frequent). I've never gotten home and found an order wrong. It's a really decent value (#2 of my 3). The wait time is reasonable for a to-go order. I consistently keep Maki in my rotation!
