I went with a group of friends last night to Ele and was hopeful based on reviews that we would be able to enjoy lovely food, drink, and conversation. the environment was warm and cozy; we sat at the bar. Drinks were great with friendly bar staff; We really enjoyed our charcuterie board. However, the meals were terrible to average. I’d go as far to say, this was the worst meal I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I had the chicken piccata with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. The Brussels sprouts were charred so much that there was not any part of the original vegetable remaining - nothing was green, I tried one bite, and tried to cut one in half but it was totally black. The chicken was not much better; it appeared to be sitting for a while and had darkened (the sauce on the top). I saw fresh plates come out while we were waiting that looked different than mine. We waited over an hour for our food, so I’m not sure what happened in the kitchen. Was this a one off experience? We did bring this to the attention of the server who brought green beans as a replacement and commented about how bad the meal looked. I was really surprised nothing more was done. At the end of the meal they offered each of us a cupcake for the time the meals took and for the quality concerns.

Probably the best buttercream icing you'll ever have! We have had many custom cakes and desserts made by elé over the years and they are masters of their craft. They always go above and beyond. Their food at the Bistro is outstanding as well. We are customers for life! Highly recommend!

GIVE ME MORE REASONS TO LIKE THIS PLACE.YOU CANT!!!!!!!!!!! Dog cookies pictured here as an impulse item after coming to elé specifically for an eclair and a brewed to order drip coffee. I’m in coffee shop heaven. Oh and let’s not forget they have a full bar and wine shop and event space. Yes. Yes. Yes. We are so lucky to have a place like this. Stop going to Starbucks or Panera and come here.

If you ever see me buy a cake from anywhere else besides elé it’s because the dumbest alien has taken over my body and wants to eat a subpar cake. Do yourself a favor and eat an elé cake. It’s like grandma just made it fresh with her stand mixer and threw in some love while at it. Literally the best cake I’ve ever bought.Edit: Nov 2023 just had the best eclair I’ve ever tried in my life

Food and service was great.Only reason for the 4 stars is the lack of any noise cancelling or absorbing aspects to the dining room rendering it nearly impossible to hold a conversation with anyone not sitting next to you.
Excellent food and service and nice patio seating area that’s not located next to the street like most restaurants.

The cake and icing just don’t taste the same anymore! It was moist but lacked flavor. I ordered a strawberry cake with strawberry filling. If it wasn’t for the strawberry filling I wouldn’t be able to tell it was a strawberry cake. And the icing..it’s just a NO for me.

I just came home for a family event and had to stop here. I remember this being my favorite cake. Man have times changed. I bought 4 cupcakes...I threw 4 cupcakes away. These were the nastiness, most stale cupcakes ever. The icing tastes nothing like it did before. They tasted as if they had been in the refrigerator for over a week. I was very disappointed. And they definitely weren't cheap. But the employee who served me was very nice and professional.
