“The food was good but we both wanted steak. After taking our order, they came back to say they only had one steak. Awkward! I had to pivot, not get what I wanted, and there was absolutely zero money off the check. A free dessert or something might've been nice. It was a real fail.“

“Recently moved to the area and went here as we're still settling into our new home. The restaurant is in a great location along 741. The environment feels like an older sports bar/family restaurant mesh, but it's not dated at all. The restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.We ordered drinks, appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, a pizza, and children's meals. The loaded Saratoga chips were great. They're house-made potato chips covered in cheese, bacon, and paired with ranch dressing. The burgers were cooked to temp and very tasty. The chicken sandwich was phenomenal. The grilled chicken tenders were both flavorful and juicy. The mac and cheese was great!!We had heard great things about their pizza, but were honestly skeptical about it as we haven't had great experiences with restaurants that have a full menu and make pizzas. Thankfully, we listened to the masses, as the pizza was perfectly cooked and was absolutely delicious.We'll definitely be adding this restaurant to our list of regular dining options. We couldn't recommend this place highly enough.“

“The food was amazing. We got Grilled pork chops, fries, ribs, and a pulled sirloin wrap for our entrees. Then we got cheese curds for our appetizer. The food came out really quickly although it does depend on how busy it is. The server we had, Diddy, was super kid friendly, kind, and patient. The restaurant was well kept and clean. It is small but good. I definitely recommend this restaurant.“
“Went to Doubledays' for dinner today, which is 2024 MLB opening day. Ironically, this restaurant which is named for the originator of the game of baseball wasn't able to show a single MLB game since they don't subscribe to the channels carrying today's games. Pretty disappointing. The food was above average and the service was good. Overall atmosphere is ok but lacking in personality. Friendly patrons.“
“This place was wonderful for home cooking. We got the biscuits and gravy and home fries. Our daughter and niece got the grilled cheese, they loved it so much we order another one to go! The service is slower, don't come in expecting to get in and out. They take their time and provide a family friendly atmosphere. Will definitely be back.“
“We ordered Thanksgiving platters for our meal this year. My father is in a nursing home, and so picking up at curbside w as best for me. I got there early, but they put everything together and had it out to me in less than 5 minutes after I let them know I was outside. The food was absolutely incredible! I have never had a Thanksgiving meal as good as Bob Evans’. It was literally better than what we used to make at home. Seriously. It was fantastic and my father and I had a great time together. “I ordered lunch online from this Bob Evans. We were several minutes late picking up our order and it was still toasty warm. Everything was present and delicious! Our food was very well Packed with a stapled top. The portions were generous, enough for two meals! Great job Bob Evans!“
“Edit/update... We've been back several times since I posted this and the service and food have been great every time. Would totally recommend to anyone.We've always heard this was an amazing place to eat so we decided to give it a shot. We ordered the fish and chips and the nachos. The nachos were good but they were overloaded with lettuce, could've laid off the lettuce a bit. The fish was super greasy but the fries were great. The service was amazing, we told them about the fish and they compensated us by taking our appetizer off the bill. It may be a bit before we go back but I'm sure we will as they have many other items on their menu. The fish and chips just wasn't to our liking. Would recommend telling them to go light on the lettuce if you order the nachos.“
