I moved to Tennessee a few years ago so when I came to Dayton for a visit I wanted to get breakfast at my favorite spot. The service was good up until our food came out then it went downhill. I got the western omelette. It was full of cheese, but lacking other ingredients that were in it. There were a couple of pieces of diced ham and bell peppers in it which caused me to complain to the server, but I didn’t send it back. She looked at me as if I pissed her off. They up charge $2 per slice of French toast if you want that instead of regular toast. No free refills on drinks. This use to be my favorite place to eat when I came to town, now I gotta find somewhere else to go.

Bought 2 breakfasts. My son went to put pepper on his eggs and the whole lid fell off. Bus boys should be checking those each time instead of just pushing them over to the end of the table. The lid fell straight on the eggs and got grease all over it. Wondering if they will even notice. Sausages looked awful and my son said they were really bad tasting. Toast was soft and soggy because there was too much cheap greasy margarine on it. The waitress did replace his eggs and toast and there was a big hair on the eggs, so had to be taken away again. Of course this put my son right off the whole place and did not want a replacement. My hash browns were too salty, I couldn't eat them. The scrabbled egg was just barely cooked. I ate my toast, but left most of the eggs and hash browns. We did get his breakfast taken off the bill, I believe the right thing for them to do was to not charge us at all. I have been in there on a few occasions and I thought there breakfast was okay. Usually I just get scrambled eggs and toast, but no one else I have taken there has liked it. I will never go back. If you like greasy fast food, then I guess you would like it. The waitress was really nice. We know it wasn't her fault, so we did leave a tip for her.

Some of the staff needs to be trained in hospitality. This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered the same lady being downright rude with us and other patrons. I’ve stopped wondering why there’s rarely a wait. We don’t frequent this establishment often because of the poor attitudes. On the other hand, our food was delicious and well prepared. Thank you for that!!

Average breakfast restaurant. Decent food. Food was bland without any distinct seasoning or taste. Nothing memorable. Waitstaff was friendly. Went with sister-in-law who used to frequent this place, but says their menu has changed drastically! Would not go out of my way to eat or wait in line here.

Terrible experience which stinks bc my husband and I enjoy their breakfast on the weekends but we will be finding another spot. Beware of there takeout orders! And the rude older lady working there who was a complete jerk to me for no reason.

Sometimes can be a little hectic, but I have never waited for a long time for a table. They have a big wide array of items on the menu and I'm pretty sure you can find something you like to try. The fruit is always fresh. Their salads are always well made and the portions are pretty big. It's a basic breakfast place, not all the bells and whistles of the trendier places, but always a solid place I know will be clean, not wait forever even on Sunday morning. I do wish they had more variety in beverages such as tea. .

First time at Scramblers. Clean, spacious, nice atmosphere. Food would have been much better if Hot, and sausage cooked longer. Server was pleasant I didn't get his name. The price was decent.
