I highly suggest if you come here to rent a villa from air bnb. The villa we stayed in was awesome and all the locals around us were very friendly and helpful! The staff was also friendly.

We stayed in Chalet 5. The steps to the chalet were uneven, moving and rotting with no railing which was hazardous and a real liability for one of our family members.several light bulbs were out and no toilet paper upon arrival! The chalet was not properly prepared and possibly cleaned for guests! The amenities were not adequately usable. There were no filters to use the coffee maker which was filthy. We were told we could buy some at the general store! We needed to request a gas tank to use the gas grill after a complaint . The screened in porch was full of holes with a rickety door with a huge hole in the screen not properly maintained. No night time chilling on the porch but bug bait! The pool was crowded each afternoon. We talked to others in the pool and discovered they were not guests. The pool is know as a public pool on the island. The public restrooms were disgusting and often flooded water on the floor. The worst is I believe we had bed bugs and have carried them home!!!! The owners have not maintained this property! Not worth the money! This is no resort!!!!

Now I knew going into the weekend and having read the reviews BUT I’m still one to judge myself. It lives up to each and every 1 star review. I’ve stayed in third world countries with better accommodations. Don’t confuse the yellow roof condos with this place - you can find those on Air BB although way overpriced. Some units on property are privately owned at Hazards and share facilities. The women’s room had 4 toilets with only 1 working but barely. Middle bass island as a whole has nothing going on for it. Maybe the speakeasy but where to stay that’s not a disaster? Won’t be back

William and Ryan our Air BNB Hosts were awful and deceitful!!!! We booked a so-called "villa" # 15 but arrived to learn they put us in # 11. These are no villas!! These are trailers on a glorified trailer park with a dumpy pool and bar. William stated that # 15 was under construction and later told me that # 15 was sold only after I kept messaging him about our stay in #11 and why we are not at # 15 which is what we booked and paid for. The locals told us they had done this before to others so please BE AWARE of this scam!!!

Rooms are nothing fancy, but the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Pool, hot tub, bar with good food. Super friendly and accomodating. Golf cart rental on-site and best price. Highly recommend!
If you’re looking for 5 star resort this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a good time and safe place ( any spot on the island is safe) this is your spot. My very first time on the island and even though the bar is a little run down this year and they’re obviously not taking care of the place as they should, I still had an absolute great time on middle bass.

H-NO! We all need to get a class action suit going for false advertisement. We stayed in the resort/condo and paid through the nose for 2 days and we left the next morning. The pool area was run down and looked terrible. The pool was filled with brownish colored water and the place tacky as “H”. The Condo itself gave the feel of being abandoned but the site said “Last Room Left”. The only people there, was us and maybe one or two other people. The beds were hard as cement and extremely cheap just an awful experience. What a monumental Rip-Off!

Resort is a very generous term.. we stayed in Cabin 1 at St. Hazards. DON’T MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE WE DID. It was bare bones, as anticipated, but the porch light and inside ceiling lights didn’t work. Porch was covered in cobwebs and dirt, with a loose front step. We didn’t have a fire pit outside as we were sold -the front desk said we could take one from another vacant site. Inconvenienced, but okay. The WORST part was definitely the bathrooms... They were constantly dirty and clogged, even the restaurant/pool ones. I’ve stayed in state parks for 1/2 the price with much nicer facilities. The bath trailer was disgusting, it smelled just walking up to it. I would’ve loved to shower, but wasn’t sure what I would contract in there. It was filmy and rust colored. The cleanliness was our biggest concern and it should be yours too. Pool needed updating, but the music and drinks were nice. Too bad we didn’t want to relax & drink more because then we would’ve had to use those disgusting bathrooms even more. Spend the extra $$ and stay in Put In Bay.
