Have you ever needed a knife to cut your pancakes? We did. And they, and the eggs and hashbrowns, were cold upon arrival.Usually a very good dining experience, it wasn't this time. Our waitress was good, the food condition wasn't her fault, so we paid and left with no thought of a return anytime soon.I did spend $90 in the kids department. ?

I took my elderly mother here this morning and breakfast terrible. The sausage was overcooked and gamey tasting. The tater tots not cooked all the way through. Amazing server though. Won't be back. Food here has gone way down hill

Every time I leave a Cracker Barrel I say never again then I forget and 3 years later I want cheesy hashbrown casserole. The casserole was good everything else is bland and gross.

I love going to Cracker Barrel however, on this morning, I was sat just before the family next to me and their party of 2 got there meals before I did with only a single order. When my food did come out the bacon was missing and when I anxiously took my first bite the eggs and grits were cold as could be. Right about then I got my bacon "dropped off", literally. I didn't even have time to address the issue because my server left so quickly. I figured she would be back around but I did not see her and managed to finish my pancakes before she returned. I was frustrated because at that point I was also wanting to get more syrup but there was no need now, and I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the cold food and she just said "Oh I'm sorry" about that and then laid the bill down on my table. She did not offer a new batch of eggs/grits or even ask how my meal was because I would have mentioned it would have been nice to have had some more syrup but I did manage to get them down and they were delicious as always!! It is unfortunate to have to leave a comment like this but I spoke to the manager and he didn't do much more than frustrate me because he took the bill and removed items i ate and left ones on I didn't. I was confused but just wanted to leave at this point. This was also after I had been persistently offered 5 different items to buy, not once or twice but 3 times on a couple of them. I have never felt annoyed by a cashier like I was and she actually seemed annoyed with me that I didn't purchase the things she offered...May be a while before I have the desire to return to this location.
