Went here for the fish platter, was not disappointed! The fish was super hot and crispy but not dry. Flavorful. I added tartar sauce and lettuce to the sandwich from their condiments bar. The hush puppies were really good, I enjoyed them a lot, good flavor and crispiness but again, not dry. The fries were solid, nothing crazy but nothing wrong with them. Slaw was classic. Restaurant was pretty clean, and it didn't take long for the food to come out, given it was cook to order. Overall I'd definitely recommend, especially given they're local.

We have gone to Roneys for many years & it was always a special treat as we travel over a half hour to get there. Today we got carryout from there and was very disappointed. The quality has gone way downhill & the price has gone up. The meat was not the same - poor quality, no more sesame seed buns, they were dry & tasteless & the sauces are not the same & now are all prepackaged. Everything I loved about this place is now gone so dont think we will be back. Wondering if there are new owners....if so please go back to what worked for years. So sad to see this iconic place go dow hill like this ?

I had the Roast beef and cheese and it was terrible.It was a tiny sandwich and it didn’t taste good.It was eight dollars and not even worth five.Not worth the money.Plus the fries were soggy.I won’t be back.

Roney's is always on point! The roast beef is delicious and tender every time! The sandwich's are plentiful , bordering on huge! The service is counter service which isn't a drawback to me , I don't mind it at all.

I've been driving from Ky to Roneys for a lot of years. It's always been my favorite place to eat. Since the sale, prices are through the roof and today's roast beef sandwich had a strange cheap oily butter taste to it ruining it for me. Between that and over $4 for a fry has ended my love of Roneys. Sad...

Always a fan of Roneys but my last experience was less than pleasurable. The prices seemed a bit high but that wasn't the issue.The roast beef sandwich my wife ordered didn't have enough meat to cover the bun. My lucky r burger was cold and the beef patty reminded me of the old jtm patties. There was an older woman working the register and it was obvious she did not want to be there. Probably going to take some time off from Roneys but I'll be back. I do enjoy the food.
It's a sad day for America. The best thing about Roney's was their homemade BBQ sauce. Now we have to deal with BuckaRoo sauce, and it's disgusting. Make Roney's Great Again and bring back the original BBQ sauce!
