The company was ruined by new ownership. Cookies are hard, terrible, tasteless, and disgusting

I’ve been ordering these cookies every few weeks recently and they are FANTASTIC! :) Whether it’s delivery or pickup the service is great and the cookies never disappoint. They are delicious and has become my favorite spot to get a sweet treat! ?

Did not know they still were in business. Ordered online and picked them up since I am local and everything went flawless. Cookies were great and very competitively priced for the quality. Will be ordering again. Wish they would bring back the butterscotch cookie.

My first ever experience with this shop. I walked in and they were happy to fill my order. As I waited, I could see that they were totally swamped with online orders. But they didn't hesitate to fill my order when I walked in. Really great people!! Awesome customer service and of course, the COOKIES ARE THE BEST!!!!! Will definitely order more!!

We have been eating BCC since Kenwood mall- when there was a Parisian! I'm 38, and weekly I went with my mom shopping, and looked forward to these tasty morsels after every shopping trip. I can smell the sweet Fragrance of cookies baking adjacent to the Food Court like it was yesterday. As we know, not much from the 80s has survived, but now I can share these once again with my little one!!! The same perfect quality and taste! They even had one in Roberd's Grand back in the day... ?it's an institution!

I have forgotten how good your cookies are. I haven't had your cookies in like 20 years. Last time you were in Bigg's Mall in Eastgate. Really good cookies. Well worth it.

I have been ordering these cookies for years now after I first tried them at the Fisherman's Wharf in SF (which has since closed) about 20 years ago. In fact, all of the stores across the country have closed except for about six of them in the Midwest. So now, I order them online. It's a small family owned business and whenever I have had any ordering issues and leave a message, I've always received a call back from Donna the owner. The cookies are shipped out fresh and taste great. My favorite is the Blue Chip Royale which has almond pieces, brickle and white chocolate chips. My only minor negative is that you really need to eat them right away. They are not as fresh and moist after freezing, even after letting then sit out at room temperature for awhile. Dont get me wrong, they still taste good, just not as good when originally shipped.

Donna's Team makes the most delicious cookie cakes around! We have ordered several through her and will continue to order for all of our birthdays!

I have been a customer of Blue Chip for years, placing many orders in that time. Blue Chip cookies are the best, but their customer service is the worst. My first issue was last Christmas. I placed an order as a gift for a friend who lives alone. Knowing there is a pandemic and shipping could be slow, I placed the order several weeks ahead, ordered December 11 to be delivered December 23. I got a confirmation and was charged, but a day before the requested delivery date, Blue Chip still hadn’t even shipped the cookies. I contacted Blue Chip only to be told that the staff was "exhausted" from orders and they would ship my order the following week. Really? No email or anything to let me know this ahead of time. Why would Blue Chip assume this is acceptable? Who wants Christmas cookies the week after Christmas? After some back and forth, with no apology from Blue Chip, I was finally given the option to pay for upgraded shipping to get the gift delivered before Christmas, making it sound as though Blue Chip was doing me a favor. I did reluctantly agree, since it was too late to order elsewhere and so my friend would have a gift.Since I have been a customer for years and since my friend loves Blue Chip cookies, I decided to give them another try for my friend’s birthday. I placed an order and received a confirmation. The only shipping option offered was FedEx, which I am very hesitant to use after many issues with FedEx delays lately. If FedEx is what Blue Chip requires, it seems reasonable that Blue Chip would stand behind the shipping and timely delivery of their product. The cookies were supposed to be delivered Tuesday, Oct 26, my friend’s birthday. I checked the tracking to see them still sitting at the FedEx hub since the day before, not out for delivery. I sent an email to Blue Chip, no response at all. Today, a day after they were supposed to be delivered, the cookies are at another FedEx hub, STILL not even out for delivery. Second email sent to Blue Chip. Still no response from Blue Chip. So, my friend’s birthday came and went, no cookies…the cookies have now been at FedEx for four days, obviously they are not going to be fresh when and if they are ever delivered. I paid top dollar for fresh baked cookies, not cookies sitting in a box for the better part of a week. The ironic part, the delivery address is at most a forty minute drive from Blue Chip at Milford, where they shipped from. If I am paying top dollar for fresh baked cookies, it seems reasonable to expect the cookies to arrive fresh. While I do understand issues happen, it is in how a company deals with the issue and provides customer service that makes all the difference. The shipping issue is obviously FedEx, however, Blue Chip is ultimately responsible to ensure their product is delivered fresh and on the date promised. Apparently for Blue Chip, the best way to deal with customers and issues is to ignore them or act as though it is somehow the customer’s fault. .After two bad experiences in a row with Blue Chip, all I can say is never again. They have made it clear that they do not value my business and have no concern for my orders. Business must be great for them if they can afford to lose long time customers. After many years and many, many orders, I will never order from Blue Chip again. There are too many other companies with great service for me to give Blue Chip my business. So sad to see a company with such an amazing product, so poorly run.Update- It is now Thursday, still no cookies and no help from Blue Chip.
