“Everything from the absolutely adorable shop to the amazing crew that works there… to the absolutely PHENOMENAL coffee. The teddy graham latte’ did me in!!! I have to have one every morning or else my day is not complete.”
“Great food, great service, and the price is very affordable with a large amount of food.Vegetarian options: Basic breakfast food, and I got an omelette loaded with vegetables.”
“This family run restaurant is exactly what you would hope for! Family ran, friendly people, great food and adorable little girl bussing tables! My dad and I love it!”
“First time visiting and we came for Tiki Thurs. The drinks were great and made authentically with fresh local ingredients (they make their own syrups). The ice is clear, filtered, and elevates the drinks. You can tell they take care to show their craft. Food was great and it was a fun time sitting at the bar chatting up the bartender. We will be back! We recommend it to anyone who is looking for tiki drinks or other craft cocktails.”
“Nice indoor and outdoor choice of seating. Awesome jukebox! The help are young high school looking folks from the area, so be sure to leave a tip, as many are preparing for college.”
“Boutique style doughnut shop with standard classics. This place is a diamond in the rough. These doughnuts are elegantly presented, and absolutelty delicious. The variety of flavors and toppings were well concieved and executed. If your looking for something a little off the beaten path thats worth the trip...this destination is worth the trip.”
“Surprised that everything we ordered was very tasty. Fish was real fish, good portions. 22 yr old daughter got the pizza grilled cheese which was like a really cheesy grilled cheese sandwich with pepperoni pizza on the top. She loved me. Wife liked the crab cakes. Service was so kind, helpful, and competent.”
“This is a good place to stop and get road trip snacks, or a hot meal, or some fuel, or to use the restroom, or get a haircut (they have a barber shop here!). It's kind of like a one-stop shop for the weary traveler. There were lots of semis in and around this gas station / travel center, so I think it might be a go-to for long-haul truckers. As for me: I just used the facilities and got some snacks, and was back on my way down the road. My visit with Flying J was quick and painless, like any visit to a gas station should be!”
“Very busy because of veterans Day free breakfast ‼️? ? pancakes EXCELLENT ?, light and Fluffy, eggs, bacon and sausage were perfect ??Service was great, even with the line out the door ?‼️”
“A lovely spot to get dinner. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. Definitely worth coming back.Dietary restrictions: The service staff is happy to help with any dietary restrictions.”
“Stopped here for dinner after a sporting event on the way home. There was only 1 poor server waiting on several tables. She was doing a great job though. The food was delicious and service was surprising quick with only 1 person out front. I had a brisket melt. It was great. The bread was perfectly toasted and not soggy. I HATE soggy bread! The brisket was delicious.”
“Tried this coffee shop out while out doing a jeep convention and so glad I did. The coffee was perfect! I got the white chocolate cinnamon ice coffee, beautiful carmel color. I hate coffee shops that put more milk than coffee, coffee should blhav3 a carmel color not a white color. They serve food here, which did look good from spying on others food orders. The place was clean and pretty cool looking. The girls working this Saturday were very friendly. Will definitely come back!”
“Absolutely loved this place. Did not take pictures of food but should have. We had the bourbon glazed salmon and a seafood boil. The owner was walking around and was simply a delight. She was singing and checking on tables frequently. The bathrooms were super clean and had bath and body works soap and even lotion. It’s little touches like this that bring a certain charm to the place. The owner at the end just dropped off (as a gift) pita fries covered in powdered sugar and Carmel and just said “for dessert”. They were hot and fresh. Give this place some love ❤️”
“Nice place. Friendly people. We make this a regular stop on our weekend walks around town. They have donuts made by a shop in Millersport as well as their own baked goods and yogurt-oatmeal cups. Everything we've tried has been good and they usually have milk alternatives if you can't do cow's milk (I can't). I hope they have long-term success here.”
“Crumble cookies have generated an excitement for a great cookie. Every Monday the first thing I do is check the new flavors coming out for the week. The cookies are soft and chewy with a crunchy exterior. Chocolate base flavors are my favorite. Also anything unique, I have to try.”
“We always have a good experience when we eat at Falcon’s Nest and like their food and the owners care about their customers. They have really good Perry ice cream and their soft serve is like homemade ice cream!”
“I used to go here in my childhood, and I stopped by as an adult to check it out and see if it was like I remembered. I ordered a coney and broccoli cheese bites, and they were delicious. The prices are extremely fair, and the selection is great. The girls working there were very friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a small town dairy place, stop here!”
“Hot fresh and delicious. Always a great experience start to finish. From the ordering (always polite and efficient on the phone and online ordering super easy and convenient) to the pick-up (hot and ready when I'm told it will be and always greeted with smile) to the finished product being totally satisfying. If you want a tasty pizza, a good sub or a fresh salad, Plaza is def one I'd recommend. 100%”
“Food is on point here the humpty is really good lol cought the Bottom of the keg on my shandy but still worth itParking: Parking along the building some across the street to the eastWheelchair accessibility: Gravel lot looks accessible”
“Let me just say the service is wonderful! I had such a great time, food was amazing, and our bartender Mariah was the best! 10/10 recommend and I will be going back.”
“Went there with a friend this morning, Saturday, March 2, 2024, at 8:30 to 10:15am. I ordered the Ultimate Omelet with a side of bacon (4 pieces!) and coffee (hot and delicious ?). My omelet was HUGE and well-filled with "goodies" and my bacon was cooked-to-order. Only ate half. Leftovers for another meal. $10+ total. I'll be returning again! Only negative was that the industrial carpet was a bit of a mess crumbs wise! Needed vacuumed!Parking: Park in front and side.Kid-friendliness: 7 large tables that would seat 4-10+ people”
“This is a very nice coffee shop. Their products are delicious and the people they have working are usually quite friendly. The only reason for a four star is it often feels like they could use an extra person or to working. If there are lots of sandwiches being ordered the coffee drinks can sometimes take a fair amount of time. Otherwise, a great place”
“50's diner full of nostalgia and hundreds of nutcrackers! Good value for the money. Hugest pork tenderloin sandwich I have ever gotten. Everything that was ordered by our party was very good. Highly recommend”
“We quite enjoy Elliot’s. The tacos are great but the thing that has always been missing is a hamburger. This time they had a hamburger offering it was called a slab burger and actually very very good. We tried to keep it light and shared one of the burgers and got a portobello appetizer, the portobello appetizer is excellent as always.”
“I’ve only had great experiences at this brewery. It’s not just a place to get a drink, though their drinks are unique and selection is big (their hazy and milkshake IPAS are awesome), but it’s also a place to spend time with friends and family. There are various food trucks that come here, there’s lots of live music and plenty of outdoor seating when the weather’s nice. On top of this, there’s a fun 9-hole disc golf course on the property! An amazing place to foster community.”
“The blueberry biscuit is to die for. I also got a vanilla iced macchiato and it was so delicious, picture perfect but I couldn’t wait to take a sip to snap one. The service is always amazing as well. Super kind workers.”
“Chef Shack: Where Burgers Ascend to Culinary NirvanaForget everything you thought you knew about hamburgers. Chef Shack isn't here to play patty-cake with mediocrity. They're here to rewrite the burger rulebook, and let me tell you, they've penned a masterpiece. My recent visit was a revelation, a symphony of flavor that left me wanting more (and maybe a nap – these burgers are that good).First, the star of the show: the patty. Crafted with a blend of premium cuts, it's juicy without being greasy, cooked to a perfect medium-rare that showcases the inherent deliciousness of the meat. Each bite bursts with rich, savory satisfaction. No dry, flavorless hockey pucks here – Chef Shack understands the importance of a well-executed patty. But the patty is just the foundation. The toppings? A chorus of culinary brilliance. From the tangy bite of house-pickled red onions to the creamy indulgence of their signature Shack Sauce, each element elevates the burger to new heights. They offer creative and classic options, ensuring there's a perfect flavor combination for every palate. My personal favorite? The "Truffle Shuffle," a decadent masterpiece featuring truffle aioli, melted Gruyère cheese, and sautéed wild mushrooms. It's a luxurious explosion of savory and earthy notes that had me rethinking everything I thought I knew about burgers. The buns deserve a special mention. Soft yet sturdy, they cradle the burger without collapsing under the weight of deliciousness. They're toasted to a perfect golden brown, adding a hint of buttery warmth to every mouthful. It's the little details that truly elevate Chef Shack's offering; they haven't overlooked a single element. And let's not forget the sides. Crispy, golden French fries, hand-cut and cooked to perfection, are the ideal accompaniment. They're the perfect balance of salty and satisfying, a delightful counterpoint to the richness of the burger.Chef Shack isn't just about the food, though. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a touch of industrial chic. The service is friendly and efficient, adding to the overall positive experience. It's the kind of place where you feel comfortable lingering, savoring the aftertaste of a truly exceptional burger. In conclusion, Chef Shack isn't just another burger joint. It's a destination for those who appreciate the art of the burger, where every element is meticulously crafted to create an unforgettable culinary experience. It's a symphony of flavor, a testament to what a well-made burger can truly be. So, do yourself a favor and head to Chef Shack. Your taste buds will thank you.”
“Super friendly staff, burger took a few minute longer than expected and they gave me free fries and coupons to make up for it! Very nice indoor seating area as well, definitely recommend you stop here if your passing through!”
“I could give this place 7 stars if I could.Everything was good. The Salsa was fresh, Guacamole was tad spicy but was complex and satisfying, the entrees were fresh and somehow came out perfect. Decoration was cultural but not over the top. The service was very warm and homely. Everyone knows how to smile. We certainly left happy and smiling that we discovered this place.”
“you and Debbie do such wonderful decorating on the cakes and cookies.... as well as being delicious! I hope to get back to your bakery soon for some frosted sugar cookies!”
