“Hey, I've been more uppity places in my life ! But fresh baked goods day after day is where it's at. Dedication and a love for their hard work, which puts a smile on my face, Need I say more ? Take a leisurely drive and stop in a spend a few $$$ keep a small business above water !I got some fresh French baguette bread...awesome”
“Hometown bar popular with the locals. Not too much has changed since my last visit in 1986; except the cloud of cigarette smoke that hung over the bar and the smell of greasy bar food you could smell as you drove by.The bar and restrooms are clean and the food I saw others order looked delicious.Parking: Gravel parking lot.”
“Stopped here while waiting to meet a friend. I had a burger with everything and a shake. The food was fresh, hot, and tasty. The shake was thick and full of flavor. Lot and patio were clean and the staff was friendly and eager to serve. I wouldn't hesitate to stop here while in the area.”
“Recent food has been excellent and the new restaurant has been more fully staffed. Just getting used to the larger spaces. Better Ambiance getting used to the size of the new restaurant. Very clean and relaxing .”
“Barbie the waitress is the best she does an amazing job, she catered to me very well when they were packed and short staffed. Steak salad was fenominal as well A+”
“I stopped here during a brief trip to Amish Country area and I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. The workers (Owners?) were very friendly, made me a good coffee (I had no food, but next time I will), and I enjoyed the acoustic guitar hanging on the wall. The Mini NES area was really cool too and there are plenty of comfortable places to sit. I have been to many countries and most of the states, but rarely found such a neat little introvert-heaven coffee shop as this. Surprise to find it in Dover, OH... When I return to this area, in a few months, I will definitely stop by again!”
“Every time we visit Dover, this is our go to place! Great coffee and food—even better atmosphere! We can even bring the kids!Kid-friendliness: They have games, books, and coloring for the family!”
“Amazing service, wonderful food, and a great stout!Visited on a Thursday night to a PACKED house and parking lot. PUB TRIVIA night! Ken ran a great show normal pub trivia with a twist bonus question. The staff.... amazing! This place was 2 floors of tables bursting with people and drinks and food. Fanny was wonderful helpful and did an amazing job of setting us up for success and all our food being ready at the same time... our table of 11 with 4 different parties. The wait staff definitely knows how to work with the kitchen! We had other servers swing by to help... I am sorry I did not catch your names in the chaos, but you were all so helpful and friendly.Note: when the house is packed and servers are very very busy and there are few food runners.... you may be asked to help retrieve your food, we did not have a problem with this! This is a pub and brewery... not Michelin fine dining. But someone might want to tell the kitchen that... some of the food I saw come across our table was elevated well over typical bar food. But you can also get exactly what you would expect from bar food. Burgers... elevated of course... juicy chicken tenders fries and the like. But check out the menu!!! Everything looked and smelled so good. Everyone was happy with their selections at our table. I have onlybtried a couple menu items myself as I am not from around here. Highly recommended by all my friends from surrounding areas.Great selection of brews! I am a fan of stouts and this one was just a good down to earth smooth stout. The scene is rustic and minimalist, which is a vibe I love. I will definitely be going again. On toothed photos! Note I went back Saturday during early lunch to capture fewer people.”
“Tried it out and was not disappointed! Ordered online and received a text saying the order would be ready in 15 min. Received another text 15 minutes later saying it was. Picked up and everything was packaged very well. Looked and smelled amazing! Tasted better than a few other Hibachi places we’ve been to. Totally worth trying out!”
“absolutely incredible! we just moved to this area and having this place here has made our entire year.we have visited thailand before and the food is our favorite part. the food here is clearly made with love and authenticity!!! we were transported right back to Thailand. we were absolutely blown away, thank you so much! already planning on coming back many many times.”
“Very friendly staff, delicious bbq. The homemade chips are just ok on their own but they are FANTASTIC if you get them loaded with brisket. We also had their shredded pork, beans, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. All very delicious. It’s definitely a sweet bbq sauce but we loved it.”
“Michael's is a local family restaurant. Friendly atmosphere and friendly locals. Good food at reasonable prices. Check out their daily specials.Parking: Angle parking on both sides of the street and along the alley beside the restaurant.”
“Not one to hype up donuts or this type of stuff, but their cream sticks & strawberry donuts are literally the best. The filling isn’t sickeningly sweet and their donuts are always fresh. Even better donuts than Buckeye donuts!”
“Very nice place. Great BURGER done way ordered. HOT & JUICEYYYYYY. GREAT. Go back tomorrow if I lived closer!!!!! TO DAM BAD COSHOCTON CANT GET A PLACE LIKE IT OR EVEN LIKE GREAT BURGER PLACE LIKE NEWARK ”
“Great service! Very attentive, friendly people. They came around to top our coffee off four times, and filled our waters before they were empty. The blueberry pancakes were delicious. The Works omlet was really good. I could have used a bit more filling, but they put Swiss cheese in it so it was a treat! Their prices were much better than any of our usual breakfast places.”
“Food was good and fast- beer was great, Blood Orange and Koffee Kolsch were our favorites, but our waiter Andy was the real sell factor! He was enthusiastic and knowledgeable in discussing the beer and spoke to the kids like they were old friends.”
“We've NEVER been disappointed in any food selection We've made. Always courteous and fun atmosphere. We go several times every month. I'd go every day if I could. Ben and Nicole (owners) run a class act and Chelsea (the fastest and best server in town) is a real treasure. The entire staff is absolutely excellent.Parking: 15 to 20 spaces when full we just wait. Wait time is only 10 to 15 minutes.”
“The only negative is that this place is so close because the food was so good and the employees were incredibly friendly, the updated building in Mantua is now warm and cozy! I couldn’t tell people to go here enough!”
“Wonderful delightful hometown, small town gathering place reasonably priced wonderful service and the food has always been good.. looking forward to my next visit ”
“My favorite pizza. When grandma zifers closed I was so sad to lose my childhood favorite, but luckily Mary zifers opened and saved the day. A unique pizza that I reccomend to anyone not in the area.”
“Their coffee is delicious and reasonably priced. Not a coffee drink, but I especially like the chocolate chip cookie creme freeze. However, if you want a good coffee, I recommend the blackbear.”
“We only ever get take out so don't know how it is in the restaurant but it's in my top 3 for cheese pizza. Homemade pasta is also very good and the service at the back pick up has always been great. The cheese sticks are fantastic, I always eat more than I should.”
“Taco salad was okay. Stuffed bell pepper soup was good. Order at counter, food brought out to table, a little expensive, not that comfortable, not memorable overall, but my mom and wife seemed to love it here.”
“We only had 1 complaint about the food. The pizza dog had a little to much liquid, like water when we cut it open. But the flavor was excellent. We enjoyed talking to the owner and workers on Oct. 27 late. We will definitely stop again the next time we're in the area!”
“Steak, it's what's for breakfast, when you have to work and didn't have time to make anything else. Leftover Marsala Steak from EL Hefe. I admit, I'm a steak snob. I usually only like filet....and I usually make it at home....from steaks that I buy from a locally owned small business/market back in Indiana. I stock up on them anytime I'm back in Indiana. I have to tell you that this is the first steak that I have had out at a restaurant, in literally years, that I have actually liked and enjoyed. This steak was phenomenal, even reheated the next day, and it wasn't even a filet! I totally recommend! Run....don't walk to EL Hefe!”
“Litty's bakery is one of the best in our area. The little shop offers delicious cakes for any special event or celebration .. weddings, birthdays, or even just a great dessert at anytime.”
“Best breakfast every!! My door Dasher stole my drink and these guys made it right my delivering me a new one! What fantastic customer service!! My new drink the harvest blended coffee was the bomb!!!”
“We were in town for a game and stopped for breakfast. I judge every restaurant by their biscuits and gravy for breakfast and their reuben sandwich for lunch/dinner. Mindy's biscuits and gravy were PERFECT. Coffee was great as well, and my wife really liked her breakfast sandwich. Prices are super affordable and the service was on point.Couldn't be happier! Dover, you guys got a gem of a restaurant in your downtown!”
“Outstanding operations. Fantastic breakfast, & lunch buffets stocked up, clean, fresh! The big chain restaurants don't even do this. A top operation!!!!Thank you ngt. & staff!!!!”

“Great atmosphere, very laid back with a nice size patio. I love the rustic wood and old antique feel to the place. Server was very nice and they had a band which was even better.”
