“I've worked here a few times and I can say, I love it. When Brigette makes a menu special it's mouth watering and gone. A little late, I'm thinking she might be enjoying her freedom. I think she retired??!!! I know, RIGHT!!! ALWAYS had the best time. Work or play I loved it!! Do yourself a favor and go see for your own experience, NOT DULL! The new management is going to surprise some! Ledgemont is not just a memory YET. Some things are not meant to be!!!”

“Been here for lunch a couple of times now. Had cheesesteaks both times. Girl working bar was also the cook. Anyway, food was good. Girl behind bar was friendly and did good job cooking. Guess they open for breakfast on weekends. Haven't tried that yet. Seating at the bar was a bit uncomfortable.”

“I really like the atmosphere at this place. I never went here before but had to wait for a huge group to order specialty coffee. I’d suggest going here before the late afternoon crowds. Great note to all. The run of house coffee is light roast that I didn’t like. I prefer dark roast so I’d order dark if I went here again. I usually drink hot coffee black and sometimes flavored. Order like this if you like same. I didn’t order food so I gave that a 3 star.”

“Always delicious,I have a hard time picking my favorites sandwiches. Reuben, chicken parm sub, and Philly ribeye are my go to's. My husband loves the burgers. The johnny boy and doubler are always favorites. Been eating here for years and have always had great food. Also love the new online ordering. Thanks for running a great small business in our area.”

“I always love going to King Kone in the summer with my friends. The ice cream is so good no matter what flavor you get. I enjoy the sign that says "We will gladly serve Anger and Joy, but we prefer Joy." It shows that the staff is very welcoming, and kind. The atmosphere is magical with the lights hanging above and music playing. The perfect place to go on a hot day!”

“Great service, and the food was wonderful. The fries were freshly cut and deep-fried. The Swiss Burger was amazing, and the soup they had on order was a true delight. Why I am giving 4 ⭐️ and not 5: No music was playing in the restaurant. They had a jukebox to play some at a coat but simply quit if you did not. They only had bottled water and no tap water to drink. It was also $2 exta to pay with a credit card. I felt like I was getting fees like the airline every time I turned around. “Might be my new favorite dive bar (I use that term in a good way). The service was great. Conversation with them and other patrons was lively (home heating and hot water tanks). Plants growing in all corners. Menu with now prices and beer at good prices. We did not eat there, but will be back for sure.”

“Stop there for breakfast buffet many times over the years with my family and the food is great. Just good old Amish style home cooking. I stop there before I hit up the mower dealer that works on my commercial mowers for my landscape company sometimes also. Plenty of parking there when I go out there with my truck and 18' enclosed trailer. Love that place.”

“Dive bar with 5 star food choices. Personally enjoyed the Newly added Elk and French Onion soup. Keep doing the magic in the kitchen. I sadly didn't get a slice of cake because a couple after me got the last one and it is also a great menu item.Parking: Parking spots fill up quick and many just park across the street.”

“Bartender was fabulous. Christopher Walken long island iced tea was the best drink I've had in years. Mongolian beef short rib was melt in your mouth amazing. I loved every bit of my first time here. The house bourbon is one of our favorites and their pretzel tart dessert is probably one of the best desserts I've ever had. Go to red eagle, then go here. “We visited 5 different wineries for my sister's bachelorette and South River Vineyard was everyone's favorite stop! The inside of the church was small, but we loved the patio. There was plenty of seating out there for our group of 10 and it was stunning with its high pillars and nice views of the vineyard. We tried a white wine and the Karma red wine and both were very good. Definitely recommend for the ambiance and views!”

“Such a beautiful winery! It is off the beaten path but so worth it. The food was honestly better than a 5-star restaurant. The property is beautiful with vineyards all around and a lake out back. The interior has a cabin feel to it but they have a private library downstairs for booking as well. We visited on a cold rainy day but it was still such a good time. Staff is so friendly and took us downstairs to the wine cellar for a quick tour and explained all about the winery! Would 10/10 recommend to anyone coming to this area! We were visiting from SC but have done a lot of the other wineries in the area and this one was by far the best. We’re planning to come back in the summer to see the outdoor area!Food is well priced for what you get. You can’t go wrong with the meat and cheese board. It has plenty of everything for everyone. The baked Brie came with bread and was topped with nuts and honey. The pork osso fell off the bone and was a really large portion size. The mushroom ravioli was also fantastic. We got the unoaked Chardonnay which was recommended to us by the staff. I usually am a Pino Grigio person but that Chardonnay was one of the best I’ve had! Once again everything was so worth the price because of the flavors and portion sizes!”

“Take out in Dec. Been here before but had been at least a year or so. Don't remember what I had tried before. To start I was really happy to see the fish tank was finally cleaned. Think that was off putting and maybe why I hadn't returned in so long. I wish the hot & sour soup was better but it's not great at all. Very gelatinous and barely anything in it, a few pieces of tofu and a bamboo shoot and little bits of egg. Both the beef and pork were I felt surprisingly good quality, better than anywhere I've tried in a long time now. Mandarin pork was good, I'd prefer more veggies and less sweet but was good. Szechuan beef had great veggies with I believe are wood ear mushrooms, was very good. Egg rolls are big and they do look over cooked/dark but they were not, they were good. Fried rice was good. Fried wontons were nothing special, wouldn't get those again. Soup came with shrimp chips and take out bag of sauces, tea & fortune cookies. Didn't get any utensils tho. There is no online ordering.”

“OK, we’ve moved to the area for six months. We went here on several recommendations. First time we ordered a veggie pizza. It was very good. Crust was just crunchy enough and toppings were excellent. If you order this ask for the garlic sauce on it. It was lacking in flavor a little bit. Next time we went we ordered a calzone and the Italian sub ( signature sub). Very good. The sub was warmed up to perfection. The next time we went on a Saturday early evening. We ordered the same two items. They were very close to the first time. Although the calzone was a little underdone and the sub was missing meat and toppings for just over 1 1/4” inches of the sandwich. Those are the only faults for this establishment. It would be nice if the prices were on the menu!”

“I absolutely love the food here! Especially the balls! Doesn’t matter which way I take them, they’re always so good! I love shoving capps balls in my mouth any day any way! Their balls are so soft and succulent! Customer service is amazing! As long as you are a decent human being with manners they are always happy to help you with anything they can. Randy, the owner, is such a nice guy always willing to help!”

“I’ve been going to this subway for 4 years now and the service is always consistent. Ms. Rita is polite, quick and very personable. The ingredients always look and taste fresh. The store is spotless no matter what time of day you come in. Often times she’s working the store alone but you won’t catch her complaining. If you’re in Middlefield and need a quick bite for lunch, stop at her Subway and she’ll get you in and out with a full belly.”
