Mount Vernon,Ohio is permanently closed building is abandoned and land is for rent.......would be nice to have a modern one built somewhere else in town with all these restaurants closing eatting out is very limited.

Not really a drivethru. You pull up to a window & They pass your order to you. That's inconvenient especially if what you want is heavy. I go there because it's close to my house.

Helpful Staff. Nice, unexpectedly memorable family outing. Experiences vary at a chain restaurant, even at the same one; depending on the staff at the time. That said, our experience the other day was amazing. The woman at the register was on her A game. My daughter was getting upset that I wanted her to also order dinner with her ice cream. The woman quickly said, "Here at Dairy Queen, we eat our dinner first." My daughter gave up and quit her pouting. Food was good. It's Dairy Queen. You know what it is. But the rest of the staff was also very helpful and kind. They were in there workin hard. My town isn't known for good service. I went in there expecting the worst and got the best. I know that sometimes the service won't be as good as it was that day. I will however, give the benefit of the doubt from now on and keep a good attitude.
