Moss Rose has a fresh, local pub atmosphere with dart games, drink specials, trivia night, painting parties, and new patio coming soon. It's a nice place to hang out and catch up with friends or meet with colleagues for lunch.
An owner that cares about the drinks they make and the food they serve, all in a cool little tucked away tavern? Pretty much unheard of in a small town like this. All of the drinks I have had here taste like they are supposed to, and the food? You aren't supposed to get food this good unless it's an upscale restaurant (they have an actual chef). Shame on me for only being here once so far. It's not quite a bar with the limited beer selection but no quite a restaurant with the limited menu. That said, the food and company here is stellar! A couple of pool tables and dart boards with an outdoor patio make for a great place to kill an hour or two after work.
