Honestly so pleasantly surprised. Stopped in randomly on a mini road trip and instantly was greeted by welcoming staff. Super attentive staff and was quickly helped! Focused mainly on the apps and - oh boy - the Bacon Tator Kegs are amazing. Super crispy outside and flavorful insides. The Buffalo chicken dip was also amazing! The first time in awhile having one with a slight kick. Not overwhelming and a great flavor.Will definitely make the trek back to try out more of their menu!

Trevor is an outstanding asset to your staff. We have had the pleasure of having him wait on us several times and are never disappointed. The food is always phenomenal, wait time is minimal, and the restaurant itself is always clean and inviting. Keep up the great work!!

This is a upscale casual dinning place with a heavy shading towards barbecue. They do have other items as well. The service is typically good and the food is usually very good. Prices are a little upscale but as I said it is upscale casual.

The Ultimate BLT was exactly what I needed that day! It was done to perfection! Add a side of sweet potato fries with my Cap't and coke, and my meal was complete. Will be back!

Stick to the burgers and you can't go wrong. The fish in the fish and chips was mushy and the cole slaw was soupy. We found the background music to be loud before the rest of our party arrived. The staff was helpful and friendly. I must say that the padded bench seat had padding in the wrong place for my 6' 3" frame. We like to come here as halfway point between the north and Columbus and there is a lively, youthly ambiance.

Reservation was honored and punctual. Service was timely and courteous. Food selections unique and excellent, especially fried mushroom and cauliflower wing appetizers and the return of "pig wings." The chorizo taco salad is excellent and just the right size. Draft beer selections are OK, but there is not enough description of about half of them to know what they really are, all being craft beers. All things considered, this place has been an asset to Mt. Vernon and well conceived and received.

Eat there often and took friends there from Columbus and they were thoroughly impressed! Excellent food and especially the waitress! She was always checking with us and making sure we enjoyed our visit! Thank you for another great visit!!

Your restaurant had such great reviews. The service was average. My tavern burger was just ok but the Cobb salads were terrible. One other person ordered the brisket platter. He didn't say anything but his meat was dry. We were with friends and typically meet at the Kenyon Inn. Both couples from out of town. We decided to meet at your restaurant this time. Totally disappointed

Excellent lunch. Very reasonable price for the kielbasa sausage plate with two sides (perfectly cooked onion rings and superbly crispy tater tots). The brown ale and kolsch beers were also excellent. Highly recommend.

Yes it is the holiday season, but we booked a high top because that was the only thing available, check in and are informed there are no high tops.....ummm, but that's what we booked...ok no problem, we had a table,way in the back....service was slow, food took a long time to come out and though it was good, it was cold. We brought friends from out of town...not sure if they were too impressed.
Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere and employees. This was my second visit and it was well worth the two hour drive. I had the Brisket Burger and seasoned fries. My wife had the Tater Smash burger and corn fritters. We look forward to our next visit.

I Made the reservation and when my son arrived before me they were trying to put us in a booth with a booster seat for my granddaughter who has one. We then had to wait while they changed and try to accommodate us with a highchair so they moved us from the dining room to the taproom stuck us in a booth for six people with a highchair on the end it was inconvenient because there was only one way out of the booth so if you had to go to the restroom change a diaper on a baby it was a little crazy. It was very noisy in the taproom more like a bar atmosphere which is not at all what we were looking for. That was the first time I had been there And the last time as well. The service was very slow it was so noisy overall a very bad experience

This was our first visit to Stein Brewing Company and the restaurant didn't disappoint! The food was absolutely amazing!! I can't say enough good things, it's a must stop everyone. Great location and kid friendly.

Such amazing creations coming out of this kitchen. I am not much of a drinker and do not like beer, so I didn't not try anything on tap. But those brisket nachos.... Omg so good! They are a meal by itself.

Great atmosphere! The blackened grouper, burger, & fried mushrooms were excellent and the flight of different beers was very good. The food is a bit on the pricey side so be prepared, but at least it was very good.
