Late on a Sunday night there is not much open on the route from Detroit to Indianapolis. Luckily Okolona tavern was open! A small tavern in a tiny town filled with locals - that's what you'll find. The place was no frills, but the service was friendly and the food tasty. We shared wings & fries - with a really yummy Jack Daniels BBQ sauce and had a few loaded burgers. The prices were reaonable and it was a perfect break in our drive.

Fun hometown bar where you can meet friends and make new ones. Julie rocks at running the joint, food is hot and fresh. Wings are big and her Jack Daniels sauce is the bomb. They have Mexican food on Thursdays and Sundays.

The wings are huge! I don't even like wings and I come here for the wings. They may as well be legs. The JD BBQ and Garlic Parmesan sauces are also great!

The place is legendary, the food is good. The service has become pretty decent.
Poor service, I didn't get my order ...then told freezer burnt after rest of party ate. Ordered a substitute and she brought it in a to go because rest of party was done. Check your bills too because we were charged for an extra drink. Horrible grouchy waitress.
