The bartender is nice and she can make good mixed drinks and shots a d drinks are reasonably priced. Has a couple pool tables. Also has one of those new touchscreen juke boxes which is nice but its $5.00 for 12 credits and at 2 credits a song (for new songs, some older ones are 1 credit) so 6 songs doesn't last long.
Dew Drop Inn is a classic dive bar. It's what one should look like. This is what one should smell like. It has the colorful clientele. Then there's cheap beer and whiskey. From the outside it looks abandoned. No clear signage or anything. Rest assured they are open. It doesn't look much better inside. There's a few TVs but otherwise there wasn't much going on. This is a fun bar in Newark! Went here with my Dad when he still lived in Newark and he LOVED this place. Karaoke Night was so fun. They will always have my respect just based on how nice they were to their regular guests including my Dad!
