A great little bar, not a dive at all, with pretty damn good food.Has a really nice bar/patio setup, with an enclosure for the winter that is heated.Karaoke on Thursdays, seasonal lent specials on weds/fridays, and fall clam bakes.John, the owner is a laid back, nice guy, the bartenders are all attentive and polite. I had a delightful experience at E 49th St Tavern! The homemade pierogies were incredibly fluffy and tasty, a true treat. Don't let the area turn you off, the tavern's commitment to safety is commendable, ensuring a comfortable environment for patrons. Kudos to their efforts in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere! They have an awesome patio and host live music!

I came out to see the Blue Matter band playing on the patio BTW that band rocks! the bartenders were beautiful friendly courteous and quick the food was awesome and the drinks were incredible!
