“We visited the National Packard Museum and were looking for local food before heading home - SO HAPPY we found this place! Very welcoming. My husband had the NY Strip Steak with Texas potatoes, and I had a gyro with red skinned mashed potatoes. Steak was cooked to perfection and eveything was so delish. On the suggestion of our waitress and Nick, we also tried the chicken that is their signature dish. Oh My Lord was it good! Wish we lived closer. “I was in the mood for a proper comfort food breakfast. So I went on down to Scenna’s Family Restaurant in Niles, Ohio. This is the quintessential cozy Ohio restaurant for sure. I loved my waitresses, she had a southern Ohio accent for sure & was just the sweetest. My seating options were tables, booths or at the counter, I chose a table. I ordered “The Mess” a big omelet with everything in it. I also order 1 buttermilk pancake & toast. I love real buttermilk pancakes, my waitress said I wouldn’t be disappointed, I was not. The pancake was awesome, such a nice size & unbelievable tasty. The Omelet was huge, I couldn’t finish it, I’ll finish it up tomorrow. I did take advantage of the bottomless cup of coffee, my waitress was on point every time it got a little low. I really enjoyed my morning here, the atmosphere was just a down home feel. You really have to have a meal here, I promise you won’t be disappointed.“
“The atmosphere is casual. Food is always served super hot and freshly made on my experience. They have various dishes that I like but the Carne frita with mofongo is my favorite, a little different from the traditional PRican mofongo though. The texture and flavor has little twist to it... Their mofongo is more like Dominican Republic's mangú which is made with boiled plantains instead of fried... but still very good. They have also a bar, pool table and domino table which is cool. Portions are generous and the prices are moderate.“
“Had a wonderful holiday lunch here and absolutely all of our food was delicious. One of the best restaurants I have been to. I ordered the lamb medium rare and it was so juicy and was easily the most flavorful lamb I've ever had. The grilled octopus was delicious and tasted so fresh. The aged Manhattan is one of the best I've ever had. The creme brulee was also quite tasty and they give you quite a large amount of it. Will definitely be going back very soon!“
“I traveled out to the Iron House bar & grill in cortland Ohio the other evening. Upon arrival I did notice all the festive Christmas decorations. Parking wasn’t an issue, nice spacious lot with lots of spots. Once inside it was self seating. My seating options were at the bar, booth or hi-top table. I always go for a table. My server upon seeing me, came right over and asked my drink preference. I asked if they had cherry soda. He informed me they didn’t, but he could make me one. Well done my friend….well done!!! He then returned with one tasty cherry pop and took my dinner order, he was super friendly & accommodating. The menu was a great selection of comfort/bar foods, burgers, wings, entrees & sandwiches. I loved the atmosphere, very chill, a neighborhood bar for sure. It had a proper bar, well stocked with liquor & beers. Every wall had a few TV’s on it, a great place to catch the game & good food. My meal was perfect, the burger tasted wonderful. I really enjoyed my dining experience here. I will definitely return in the future for dinner or to watch the game. “I visited Bob Evans for breakfast with my wife and we had a pleasant experience. The restaurant was clean and cozy, and the staff was friendly and attentive. Sam was awesome. We ordered the Double Blueberry Hotcakes. The food was delicious and satisfying, and the portions were generous. They were loaded with blueberries and topped with whipped cream. “One of my local Bob Evans on Belmont Ave. in Youngstown. A big ol’ parking lot with lots of parking spots as well as handicap parking. I was greeted by my server how seated me quickly. Seating options are tables or booths, I always get a table. The menu is classic southern comfort food, and you can never go wrong there. My server was extremely polite and attentive, she got my coffee out fast & hot. I ordered my favorite breakfast meal, cooked perfectly & tasty. “We always have a great experience when we go to Bob Evans for breakfast. Due to work schedules, breakfast on the weekend is sometimes all the time we have together. We have went to other restaurants in the area, but their food and service do not compare to Bob Evans. Candy and Angel are both always so wonderful and friendly. They truly keep us coming back.“
