Got to be honest, it’s not often I feel badly about paying for a meal but today was one of those rare times. Had the shrimp and grits which the menu says comes with garlic bread.Not sure what was more disappointing, the undercooked grits that sat so long they began to coagulate and form a film, the 3 tiny shrimp I happened to find in my shrimp and grits, the 2 bite sized (literally) pieces of garlic bread on the plate or the server telling me someone else wasn’t thrilled with their order of shrimp and grits today without any effort to make it right other than an apology I didn’t like it.I’m not a picky eater by any means but these were bad. And I got to pay the full price of $16.99. Not to be unkind but it won’t happen again.

Food was made incorrectly, we had to ask for it to be made as it was described on the menu. The waitress volunteered to have it taken off the check since we waited for 25 minutes for it to be remade. When she returned she said she was newish, the managers told her they didn't give out discounts for incorrect orders or long wait times. It took 40 mins for a coffee refresh. The apple fritter French toast was great, but the other meal was bland.

Overpriced everything. No warning of an additional service charge on the bill, even if paying cash. Fountain drinks are over $3. These prices would be ok at a 5 star restaurant that requires a reservation and has valet parking. But no, it's just expensive eggs in a strip mall next to At&t and Best Cuts.

The taste and quality of food are superior. The vibe is great. Servers are usually outstanding except for one server who kept forgetting things and apologizing. Prices are reasonable.

was there about 1145am, place had only like three tables taken, but didnt see an employee. I went ahead and sat at counter/bar. several minutes went by before finally seeing an employee come outta back. Server seemed nice. said they are "deep cleaning in back while they are dead" Asked what I wanted to drink. I took several minutes to look at menu as I had never been there before. I ordered, and as dead as they were it seemed like it was taking forever for the food. Server said at one point "they are waiting for sausage to fry". a period of time still went by when food finally arrived. I was about ready to say I will pay for drink and go. food was OK, had better, had worse. Server never asked how food was. ate about half and got rest to go in a box, I had to go as I was on my lunch break. Also an FYI, I dunno if this is just this location or all Broken Egg's, but there was an 50 cent "service charge" on bill, I inquired to server what that was (I had a feelin I knew already) she said it was for using cards. I paid cash and left. Probably wont be back unfortunately, had high hopes. Food just took too long, feel server was not attentive, even with the place being dead, and I think the 50 cent service charge is crazy, taking cards is the expense of doin business.
