Food was way way overpriced for what you got. Had to order at a counter. Waiter brought wrong drink and did not check to correct it. We will not be back.

The atmosphere was really cool in a well renovated older building. We felt very relaxed. When you enter you Oder first the find a table and you food is brought out to you. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My wife has a dairy allergy and they had a very selective menu for her but they were out of the rotisserie chicken (at 6:00?). The main menu was very selective for individual ordering it's based more on sharing meals. I ordered the wings and a 3 piece chicken tenders so I could get a side and not pay $5 for a side. Well get this they were also out of ranch dressing and didn't offer any other options other than ketchup (no blue cheese?). The management should have sent someone out to get supplies to finish the day? This is a management issue they obviously don't inventory and manage supplies. They are not going to get shipments in on a Sunday? The wings looked awesome but the actual chicken was very dry (2 of us ordered them and both agreed that they were too dry, and no dipping sauce?). Two of us had the Mack and Cheese and it was salty our son in-law couldn't finish his ($5) but I did mine. Then 2 of us had the fingers and both agree to dry and I tasted a high amount of salt on them too. I did get 4 tenders but I only ordered a 3 piece. I did not get my receipt so I was unable to check to make sure she didn't change it to 4 and charged me more. Needless to say it cost us $78 for 4 people (6 wings with 2 sides, two 3 piece tenders, 1 dozen wing with a side and a additional 6 wings with a pop, the rest had water). So bottom line they are not prepared for daily service and the food is not worth the price and definitely not prepared well. Needless to say they failed our first visit and probably will not return again.

The Howlin Bird is an anticlimactic restaurant that promises a lot but fails to deliver. While the menu offers a variety of Southern-style dishes like fried chicken and biscuits, the quality of the food is generally underwhelming. The fried chicken at The Howlin Bird is often overcooked and dry, with a lack of seasoning that leaves it lacking in flavor. The biscuits are also disappointing, with a texture that is often too tough and a taste that is bland. The sides at The Howlin Bird are forgettable, with options like mac and cheese, collard greens, and mashed potatoes that are generally uninspired and lacking in flavor. The portion sizes are small for the price, making it a poor value for customers. The service at The Howlin Bird is lackluster, with staff members who are often unresponsive and inattentive. The ambiance of the restaurant is nothing special, with a plain decor and a lack of cleanliness that can be off-putting to customers.Overall, The Howlin Bird is an anticlimactic restaurant that does not live up to its promises. With lackluster food and service, there are far better options available for those seeking a satisfying dining experience.

Not bad overall. I would love to try their brunch sometime. Panera bread ordering and service style.

The food here is awesome! I was a little surprised that you have to order food at the counter before you can be seated. The people are very kind. I selected the Reuben special, but then I regretted not getting some of that awesome chicken. There weee seven in our group and they had everything from pancakes, to chicken sandwiches and chicken and waffles. Huge portions! We will be back.

Usually go on Tuesdays and get a spicy chicken sandwich. I would say their sandwich blows Chick-fil-A sandwich out of the water.

Yummy food. We got the big flock and shared it with 5 people. It was plenty. The only reason I gave them a 4 on atmosphere is that it was loud.

Large portions so we shared the breakfast bowl. Everything was excellent, especially the chicken.
