The restaurant was a pleasant space. The service was lackluster at best. The server seemed to disappear and not come back for long periods of time. I had mocha coffee and the first cup they poured was lukewarm. The food wasn't that great either. The salmon burger was just a salmon cake on bread. Their lemon blueberry cake was gross. The frosting was hard and didn't seem to even have any sugar in it. The cake tasted like lemon pledge and you wouldn't even know there were blueberries in it. I was not impressed to say the least.

Fresh, excellent selection, high quality food. However new owners have taken away tea room ambiance. No tablecloths not even place mats. Table we ate dishes and silverware on bare wood. Other cutbacks in tea niceties.

A hand-written note at entrance said table service limited to 75 minutes. Clock in upstairs room not working. Chicken/spinach soup was below standard with big chunks of potatoes and little flavor. Chicken pot pie was a disappointment, mostly potatoes with a sauce that wasn't a creamy base, although puff pastry top was a delight. We were led through the kitchen (!) and up servers' staircase. Service was mediocre with no offer for drink refills or dessert.It's a cute restaurant so we'll visit again, but next time we'll order high tea which looked delicious with finger sandwiches, banana (?) bread, mini desserts and hot tea served in delicate China cups.Wheelchair accessibility: Not able to accommodate wheelchairs. Many small steps created safety hazard.
