My wife and I had the Easter Buffet here. We looked on line to see menus of what all the state park lodges were having for their Easter menus. We chose to eat here. I am a picky eater and they were having 2 meat dishes (roast beef and Cajun rubbed chicken)mashed potatoes and corn with basil. We chose this lodge because of the menu as pictured below. We get there they don't have half of what was on the menu. No chicken no Kelbosa and pieogies. No mashed pototoes. It felt like a bait and switch. They had boiled new potatoes and roast beef that I would eat. I brought it to my servers attention but no one cared.$36 for 2 slices of roast beef and some potates. very disapointing.

Went to Water's Edge Restaurant for lunch today with some family and I got a Berry Salad. The employees were nice and friendly and helpful. It was a beautiful view of the little pond right outside. It's a beautiful atmosphere. Located in Oregon, Ohio.

Maumee Bay State Park Lodge is a beautiful venue. Very nice rooms, the grounds kept up really well, the restaurant is excellent. We got to play golf one day and the golf course is top notch. Lynx style course with very few trees but watch out for the rough!

We enjoyed the ambience, food choices, and excellent wait staff. We were a large multigenerational group for dinner and breakfast.

Food was great! Tina the waitress did everything perfect! Such a nice upper scale establishment. However, the flies inside are gross! There where 10 at our table and hundreds threw out the other tables. Makes me question if they where on my food in the kitchen. Everyone just keeps swatting them away.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Waters Edge in Maumee Bay State Park Lodge Centre for two days, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly smiles and a warm atmosphere.During our first day, we decided to have lunch at Waters Edge and it exceeded all expectations. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch. I was impressed by the attention to detail and the genuine care the staff showed towards their guests. The prices were reasonable and definitely worth it for the quality of the food and service. The following day, we indulged in the breakfast buffet, and it was a true delight. The wide selection of fruits, pancakes, and comfort food catered to all tastes, even the pickiest eaters in our group were satisfied. Not to mention, the breathtaking view from Waters Edge made our dining experience even more memorable.I highly recommend Waters Edge for both off-season visits and hotter days. It offers a fantastic escape from the cold weather, providing something fun to do while enjoying a magnificent meal. The combination of great food, excellent service, and a beautiful setting make Waters Edge a must-visit destination. I can't wait to return and create more unforgettable memories. Thank you, Waters Edge, for an incredible experience

Very dissatisfied with the service. The staff seemed unhappy. Our server was less than happy to wait on us. We waited 10 minutes to order then another 20 minutes yo get out salad (which had the wrong dressing). Shortly after we received our salad she brought us dinner. No conversation just walked away after we were served. Never even refilled our water. Very disappointed. Find somewhere else to eat, River's Edge is not worth it.

A sweet waitress went way above and beyond her duty, My husband, I and our two friends went in to Waters Edge Restaurant, my husband and our friends ordered, I ask if they had milk shakes because I told her I’m having problems swallowing food down, the food won’t go down. She said so sorry we don’t have milk shakes so I just ordered a root beer to drink while everyone ate (it’s ok though) our sweet waitress whipped up milk with ice whip cream and made me a milk shake with whipped cream and chocolate sauce on top. Brought me a big cup. I said oh wow! I love you thank you!! She said it complementary. She made my day how thoughtful and sweet of her to care so much about another person’s problems and health issues. The food looked delicious my husband and our two friends said it was. Thank you! I wish I would have got her name.

Awful experience. Took 40min for appetizers and even longer for our dinner. 1-Salad 2-Garlic butter chicken 3-12" pizza 4- Cheeseburger. 3 of the 4 dishes were brought out and then the pizza 15minutes later. All orders were given at the same time. Beautiful place but just horrible service. Pizza was a veggie pizza that had little to no sauce and was not very good at all unfortunately.
