The manager should be fired for assaulting that patron before police arrived.

I just watched the video of the arrest of Devon Johnson. I’m hoping race had nothing to do with this, but difficult to believe that it’s not watching this video. I would exercise caution and research before deciding to give Brick Street anymore of your business. If the person were inside the establishment, by all means he should had been restrained. Chasing and apprehending a person in public is the job for police. Not doormen/security. Extreme cases are the exception.

I would avoid this place unless you're looking for a bad night. Place invites trouble. I didn't feel safe here. Felt cheap and poorly run.

The item described as "pork bun" is actually chopped pork inside of an English muffin. I was of course expecting BBQ pork inside of a steamed bun. And to add insult to injury, they cost $4 EACH!! Never again!

Great structure with fun spots to people watch but they did a terrible job of placing bars and traffic flow was poorly thought through, IMO. Therefore, many bottle necks and over crowding and you can wait a long time for cocktails. $100k on a good flow analysis would have paid them 4 fold per year. Still, a must visit when in Oxford.

When I was at Miami this was my personal favorite bar. The drinks were good but overpriced just like any other college bar. The atmosphere was fantastic when going with friends. Going as alumni is a totally different story. It was so unpleasant, I knew nobody there, and I could see why people hate this place lol. But Brick Street will always have a place in my heart. Love & honor.

I'm going to see who I can get in contact with about getting safety inspections done and monitoring the maximum capacity violations at this bar...there are regularly so many people here that they are flooding into the streets..people so intoxicated that they are stumbling when leaving and unsanitary conditions throughout the bar... something needs to be done this is a safety hazard and I know they are violating the maximum occupancy laws on a weekly basis. OSHA and the fire dept will be notified promptly

This is worst bar in America. If you're looking for a good drink and a good time skip Brick. Staff sucks, crowd sucks, drinks suck.

I had respect for brick until I found out that they dilute their well liquor by at least half at beat on Saturdays. Nice one will.

At Brick Street you never know what your gonna get, that is if you can even get in. The girls at the door have the authority to judge you based off of looks. My boyfriend wasn't allowed in tonight because the girl at the door 'didn't believe he went to college' even though he showed his drivers license and his college ID, but she denied him saying "it could be fake, i had a fake college ID.....". i believe she was being racist, and judging him off his looks. his ID was real and his other friends got in behind him showing the same student ID's from UC. Something needs to be done about this and have a better system at the door, not discriminating off of looks.
