I went in, placed my order, and it was ready within 15 minutes. The gyoza were delicious but the 'spicy chicken' was the best thing I have had in Oxford. I was nervous about trying it but it was suggested to me and it sounded delicious, so I ordered it with low expectations. It came out extremely hot, crispy and juicy, with the best flavor I have no idea how to describe. It was similar to chicken schnitzel but better. I will be back.

The host was my favorite park of the evening. She’s very inviting and funny. Ordered Calamari, cooked wayyyyyy to long. First time I ordered calamari, and I’ve order it no matter where I go around the country and this by far my least favorite. Tried putting actuarial sauce in it so I should eat it. Which made it a little better. The Tofu was surprisingly good after the spice. We were warned it was spicy and it was. However, when I added the rice to our it calmed it down some was out was good. When you see too many dishes left on the table, I think it’s time to re-evaluate the way dishes are prepared. I appreciate the accommodations, I know they were slammed from parent week/weekend. My daughter said she never been. Glad we tried.

Was not a fan. Stuff all over seats, only one or two booths to sit in and not cleaned, seemed inexcusable for an empty restaurant. Did not seem busy at all, I can see why. At least no one was dining in. The sushi was warm presumably from the tempura shrimp. The wasabi and the eel tasted old and gross, the imitation crab was really dry... no bueno. The girl at the front was mostly on her phone the whole time. Food portion was good size but half tasting bad so I began to wonder if I could finish. Oh, and it looked like there was a raw chicken foot just chilling under the table. Thought I would give them a chance despite bad reviews, but after this experience I can say I don't plan to return. Take more pride in your restaurant and maybe you can turn it around. If food is going bad maybe decrease the menu options and increase the quality and presentation of what you do serve. Just my two cents.

Excellent quality food. Secret menu is an exciting meal, you basically let them know your allergies or taste preferences and they surprise you with a wonderful meal, giving you a chance to explore out of your comfort zone of normal ordering. Will keep coming back!

It is not only a place where I eat food, it is also a place where I feel relaxed. The waitress over there are really nice, and they have karaokes and movies.

Awful experience-both food and service were awful! My food tasted like antibacterial cleaner. I told our waitress that my meal was not edible and she said she was sorry but I could not return it and get something else! No deduction off my bill. My daughter had sushi that was bad as well. Another person in our party never got his meal. After 35 minutes of waiting for his meal we decided to no longer wait for it. There was only one other table with four people in the restaurant. No excuse for slow service! There was no apology from the staff for the bad food or service. Wont give them a second try!

The new remodel is amazing!! Their food is also top-notch—my wife and I both agreed that it was the best sushi we’ve ever had. 1000% recommend for a nice date night!

I usually don’t post reviews but just wanted to spare someone the same mistake we made. The food was very underwhelming and we won’t order again, especially for the price. We ordered takeout beef and vegetables, tofu and vegetables and chicken hibachi. The meat and tofu in all the dishes were good and cooked well. The veggies in the beef dish were undercooked. The tofu dish was not marked spicy on the menu, so I was very disappointed when I got it (it’s made with jalapeño peppers and a spicy mushroom). The chicken hibachi was just alright. The fried rice is perhaps a more hibachi style fried rice (as opposed to typical Chinese takeout) but it is severely lacking in flavor. We chose this restaurant because my favorite was temporarily closed. I am an adventurous eater and generally love Asian food, so I wanted to like the food. Overall I would highly recommend trying any of the many other Asian food options in town.

So good!! We got they pork dumplings, pork belly with garlic sauce, a tuna roll, spicy salmon roll, and Godzilla roll. Everything was delicious! Only issue at all is that they had no music or background noise so it was weirdly quiet.

I don’t want to comment anything else other than the shrimp tempura here, it’s literally the same thing you can buy from Costco with much much lower price. So will you feel it’s reasonable to pay them to microwave heat these shrimps? That’s only the tempura, you can see how they prepare other foods here. Cheapest cost, highest price, you won’t get what you deserve.

Enjoyed a meal with my family here before I moved to Japan. Cute cafe. Really tasty Japanese food. The tempura veggie sushi was amazing. They even gave us one of those popular double-sided (happy/sad face) stuffed squid for being the first customer of the day! Will definitely eat here again!

Made an order on line only to be told they weren't taking on line orders and while trying to deal with our payment and food the staff was alone and too busy to help us. We enjoy them but won't be back.

I never write reviews, but the food was so expensive and very low quality. The sushi was warm, rice had a dirty taste to it, and poke bowl wasn't as described. The restaurant was dirty and service was not great. Had to throw the food away and get fast food instead.

I went here based on the reviews on a Sunday and walked up to the door and saw the schedule. It said that it was open on Sundays and I was very exited to try the food but we asked people if they were open and they said they should and called several times and got hung up on every single time. Not very good impression to make on a first time customer.
