Last week was the first time I've been to Capps. I was pretty happy overall. We got the buffalo balls as an appetizer and they are to die for. I would recommend those over anything else. Our server, Ethan, was amazing! He was really sweet and attentive and surely deserves a kudos. I got a bacon cheeseburger with steak fries and it was pretty good. Was it worth $15? Not really. I didn't like that the menu didn't have any prices on it. People like to know what they're paying and for a bar/restaurant to do this is silly in my opinion. There was also a 'technology fee' on our bill of almost $4 for using a credit card which I wasn't a fan of. All in all, it was a pretty good visit and I'd go back but with cash.

My family of went out to eat for the first time since our was an infant and now 18 months. It was a total nightmare and we ended up leaving right after we got our (incredible) food because our son was losing it. We were embarrassed and humiliated by his screaming and kept apologizing to everyone as we packed up. Our waitress was so kind and sweet as I cried packing everything up. I told her how sorry I was and she said “it’s okay! It happens! Next time it will be much better”. Thank you Capps for being so family friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed our burgers for lunch. They have some good lunch specials. Odd is the menus do not have prices. You have to scan a code and check prices online which I found odd and complicated. Actually I was unsuccessful on seeing the menu online which is probably why we just closed the lunch specials. Our table ordered 2 cheese burgers and a Long Dog Fish sandwich with fries. Burgers were served as requested, one well done and then the other medium well. The fish sandwich was tasty and a good size. Definitely ? % returning the next time we are in the area.
Dinner at Capps pizza & Tavern. Not a terribly busy night but not slow. Still greeted right way. Real friendly staff. Drinks ordered right as seated and came right out. My wife got the special 10oz sirloin with 2 sides (she got a baked potato & broccoli) and toast. For $13.99. Amazing price. Came out cooked perfectly, potato was good too and huge! I got the frisco burger. Patty, cheese, onion and bacon with a sauce. Good burger. Several TVs on around the place, I was able to watch the hockey game while eating. Which is always a plus. Dark wood give the place a nice comfortable feel. Really enjoyed the evening. It's worth checking out. I Will definitely go again.
Prices going up, quality of food inconsistent. Takeout business is surviving off of folks that have no other convenient options.Update: Tried to give them another chance. Came out to $50 to pickup a laughably small amount of food. Got home to find a black cookie pizza. Called them back and they remade it but obviously they had no problem pulling the first one out and sticking it in a box to go out the door. Check all of your food before you walk out of here.
