I stopped in just to check the menu, thinking maybe I'll take Mother Darling a taco for dinner. She's at home with the cats. She refused to join me. I'm certainly glad she stayed home! I had the most delicious quesa burria plate. Oh, my. I stayed and ate them all. I didn't even save one for Mother. She can have a can of paté and some saltines for all I care.

Tonight was our first time here and it was the best taco Tuesday ever. We got a steak taco and steak quesadillas and they were absolutely delicious! What a great little find. We will definitely be back.

New to the area and wanted something other than strip mall Mexican food. This place keeps things simple where it needs and puts the effort in the margs, food and friendly service. Top notch, you won’t be disappointed. Authentic as it gets!

My wife and stopped in here Friday in our quest to try all the Lake County Taco Trail restaurants. Small restaurant but not cramped. They had an ample selection beers and coolers, as well as a limited selection of spirits. They have only been open 1 year and I hope they thrive because we were very happy that we stopped in. The lady who appeared to handle everything outside the kitchen was very nice and attentive. There were not many people when we were there but you could tell they had been there several times based on the interaction with the server. The usual chips and salsa were delicious, and once again my wife said, "I think this might be the best salsa we've had in a restaurant." The menu was awesome! Not your typical Mexican menu, and they had several unique dishes. I had the Carnitas Paladar, which was a large portion of pork tips, cheese, real refried beans (not the bean paste that I usually get), and rice. It was delicious and I had leftovers to take home.I'm glad I signed up for the Taco Trail app because I probably would not have tried this restaurant or even known about it. We will be back, and I hope more folks give this restaurant a try.
