Horrible place!!! the place was filled with kids running and screaming through the entire restaurant and kitchen. Ordered 4 taco and took 40 minutes all for the smallest tacos to exist, as well as being smushed together in a bag. Never going back and I don’t think anyone should go either.Parking: It’s horrible

okay they got two stars because it's Painesville and that's where I live. order a chicken burrito,my God it was stuffed with chicken, if you could call it that. if you took a rooster and ran it over with a car for a week then boiled the carcass that might be it. there are four other restaurants in Painesville that are much much better , do not go here.

A small quaint home style Mexican restaurant whipping up some of the most authentic Mexican dishes in the Cleveland area. For a very fantastic lunch I had a bowl of menudo which is basically a spicy soup with cows stomach, I know it sounds very unique and not something that is common for the western palate but trust me when I say try this you won't be disappointed. My partner and I split a octopus shrimp cocktail which was unbelievable and then my partner had the chicken enchiladas. Did I mention that they use some of the freshest ingredients I have had. There are many Mexican restaurants around but if you want some of the most authentic Mexican cuisine around well then this is it.

Amazing salsa with home made chips that are complimentary. We got a side of guacamole that was made to order. Very authentic. I had Al Pastor tacos with a side of rice and beans. Rice was moist and perfectly seasoned. The beans were also homemade. Excellent. Meaty tacos. Very enjoyable. Very casual restaurant. Prompt service.

Food was delicious. Everything was cooked to perfection. Service could improve though. From the time we sat down till a server came over was probably 10+ min and we were the only table there till after they finally took our drink order. Other than that quality of food and how it was prepared was amazing.

Stopped in for an early dinner with the family. Staff was friendly and the food was out quick and was delicious. An excellent spot for some Mexican fare. The next time we pass through Painsville, we'll definitely return.

Can't wait to try more items from the menu but I keep ordering the quesadillas cuz they're that good! Upgrade to deluxe for free, plus you can order quesadilla dorado any day of the week!

Terrific food, very good prices. I went one Friday and they had a house musician, playing pop songs on guitar and singing with a tip jar. It is true some staff are not strong in English but of course others are, and all will work with you until they see what you want. It is a wonderful atmosphere is you go during peak hours -- and of course faster if you go off peak. Also there is an improved bilingual menu over the cash register. The point, though, is extremely good food. The soup orders (pozole and menudo) are not individual servings they are meant for a small group -- and they make great take out items.

My wife & I just finished dinner at Picante & we loved everything! It was our 1st time here. The tacos & my quesadilla were delicious. You can get so many different meat fillings including tripe & tongue (lengua) which I love being of Italian heritage. We both highly recommend & will definitely be back & will do take out sometime too.

Yikes. I was so excited to try this place; I live nearby and Mexican food is one of my favorites. What an utter disappointment. When we sat down, there was one other table in the restaurant. It took our server quite a while to take our drink orders. My boyfriend and I both got pop. She brings us two cans of pop, no glass, no straw, no ice. Then we get our chips and salsa. The chips were hot and fresh but the salsa was so runny like nothing I've ever had before. I mean runny like water, not just a little too thin. We waited a considerable amount of time to get our food and when it was brought, we did not get any utensils. After about three minutes I had to find our server to get them which was a little frustrating. I ordered tacos and a quesadilla. I have to say, the presentation was really nice and the food looked delicious! Unfortunately, looks are deceiving. My ground beef tacos were just that, ground beef. No seasoning at all and it was very bland. And due to the watery salsa, we could not put it on our tacos which was disappointing because who doesn't want salsa on their tacos? I took the first two bites of my quesadilla and got mouthfuls of potatoes. That was odd to me so I opened it up and found that they put potatoes in the meat and I had about 85% potatoes...and a nice long hair cooked into it. Needless to say, I left still hungry. I would normally give a place a second chance but considering everything here was disappointing from beginning to end, this restaurant is off my list. I wish this could have been a better review but our experience was a huge fail all the way around.

Our go-to Mexican spot in Painesville-always good. The food is excellent, the workers are so kind. The green salsa is insanely addictive. Highly recommend.
