My wife and I stopped there yesterday 10/5/22 about 1:00 pm to finally have a chance to use the $30.00 gift certificate our son and daughter in law had given us. There was a hand written note taped to the window “CLOSED - NO MEAT” A worker from the nearby Subway stepped out on the sidewalk to let us know that Dickeys not only ran out of meat, but it was his understanding they were closed permanently! I guess that I’ll need to take it up with their Corporate office to get my money refunded

It was our first time at Dickey's and probably our last.The first impression walking in the door was; it was clean, smelled good and was empty.The two employees working looked absolutely miserable, they look like they hated their job and wished they were anywhere else. So to our order.We ordered a brisket sandwich (for my husband) for his sides, he wanted waffle fries and mac n cheese. They didn't have waffle fries and substituted regular. The mac and cheese didn't have any flavor even after adding salt and pepper.I got the Texas Frito Pie, wish I would have gotten the Brisket Fritos. I wasn't too impressed especially due to the price.They only got the two stars from us and that was for the brisket sandwich, it was amazing!! It was so good I didn't even get a bite because my husband devoured it. But I don't know if it's good enough for a second visit.As you could see the place was empty. The soda machine was down or out?? He chose to get the lemonade which tasted like water.So if you decide to go I hope you have a better experience than we did.

I wish I could give 0 stars, There's $18.00 dollars I'll never get back. burnt ends were 1/2 fat on each piece, and there is a premium charge on them. Corn bread tasted day old and left out to get dry, sausage was cold. Cole slaw was very substandard, beans were cold. The person behind the counter equally as cold as the food, Not polite, and complained about the place herself telling me "They" won't let her order CO2 for the pop machine.only had a choice of fruit punch or lemonade. I have never been so disappointed in a meal.

They sent the wrong food through Uber Eats. When we tried to call to get it corrected it took forever to get someone on the phone and when we did the guy said to “f—- off and call 911” TERRIBLE FOOD AND WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICES

This place was awesome in Medina. Parma location might be having an off day today. Food was cold and had to be reheated, soda machine out of most drinks. Then as went to pour our drinks, the worker tells us that the drinks are flat today. Asked why we were charged for drinks if they are flat and out of half of the selections. Her response was “it’s out of our control”, which is true other than the charging for it part. Two thumbs down, won’t be back

So disappointed. Always loved Dickeys in the past but they have totally went down hill. Poor quality food. Food was cold and not thoroughly cooked with no taste. The dinner roll was hard and dried out. $18.95 for 3 meat combo and 2 sides to get a very small portion of food and a drink is not even included. Bbq sauce was like water. Expensive pricing for low quality food. Save your money.

Mac and cheese was okay, the pulled pork and burnt ends were good with a little bbq sauce. I could definitely do without the chicken though. The dinner roll was so hard and dry that eating it was not an option beyond 2 small bites. Baked beans weren't even thoroughly cooked, they were crunchy. Rather expensive for the quality and meal portion size. I got the brownie, it was okay too, wouldn't get it again though.

Will never eat here again. Waited over an hour to be told my order had been canceled due to being out of something, they wouldn't specify. Unprofessional, would not recommend.

Went there ordered the two meat plate got a half of a chicken breast sliced up literally five slices brisket which was four slices mostly fat not even enough meat to even taste the brisket me and my husband were standing there we're like hello anybody Here the girl was in the back sleep I could have came inside and made our food and walk out and she wouldn't even know because she was sleep portion sizes are horrible for the price that you pay you pay $16.17 a plate no drink included for me and two sides and you get not even enough for me to taste my husband ordered brisket sandwich and every brisket slicy had on the bread which was four slices maybe five was all fat so basically he pick all the fat off and he's probably with three slices it don't make no sense how y'all charge all this money for barbecue meat and we don't get the right portion amounts it's ridiculous I will never go there again.

Wow, what can I say besides it was horrible. Ordered 2, 3 meat platters to go. These meals are $18.95 each (without drinks) so you expect it to be decent. The entire meal was room temperature at best. We had very little brisket and a good portion of mine was just fat. The sausage tasted old and didn't look fresh. Both dinner rolls were hard and cold. My husband got onion tanglers which were a cold doughy mess. They hadn't been fried long enough and were cold to the touch. A bad experience and we won't be back.

The food was pretty good except for the corn muffins. I am not fond of pepper in the corn muffins. The order was missing a side. I tried to call, but no one answered in a dead store during Friday dinner time. I drove up there to get my side and it was provided with no issue and an apology. The primary reason I am giving Dickey’s one star is they are charging sales tax on carryout orders. In Ohio, sales tax is not charged on carry out orders, only food eaten at the premise or soda. Dickey’s is ripping people off 8% of the total for every carryout order. This was an online website order via pc. I clicked carryout on the website and the order even said hand off to customer.Customer support update:I contacted customer support on the website. The support agent specifically told me that the online customer support only covers online orders. I told them (again) it was an online order and provided the order number as requested. After a few emails back and forth, the online support agent turfed me off to the local store and owner. Dickey’s either does not answer the phone or they do not return voice messages. So, the online support that was supposed to solve online issues is totally useless. I did not get the refund of illegally charged sales tax and the Dickey’s website has not been fixed to stop charging the tax on carryout orders.

If ordering from a food carrier service, DO NOT do it!So I’m not much of a review writer and rarely will come to the internet and complain about humans making human mistakes, however, this scenario deserves special attention.Let’s start with Dickeys bbq pit in the beautiful city of Parma. Anytime I went there in person it was mediocre, but since mission bbq opened a couple years ago I haven’t went back.When ordering through Uber eats, or door dash, you find dickeys bbq. Ok bbq at a reasonable price. The problem I have had with this place is that both times, my order has taken hrs to receive. This is not on Uber eats end, it’s on dickeys not having the food prepared.Tonight, for example, I went to visit my son who’s on summer break and is having a few budddies sleep over. They were hungry and Decided that they wanted bbq so I ordered. Was supposed to be here in 30 min. Contacted my Uber driver 30 min later and my driver said it’s not ready. Another 30 min, still not ready. My driver canceled his delivery of the food because he was there for an hr, now Uber has to find another driver (which they do) and my food still isn’t ready.Idk if you’ve ever been inside of this place, but it’s not busy, it’s definitely not like a chipotle or chick-fil-a, but more like an arbys at 9pm……Anyways, I typed all of this and waited 2 hrs and still no food. I have a bunch of 12 yr olds complaining that there’s no food and I’m not happy. $80 on some bbq and I can guarantee it’s not hot or fresh.Never again Dickeys…. SMH.

I will never order from this place again. After placing a $130 order from their website I received the food in greasy brown bags...not even takeout containers! As if that wasn't bad enough they forgot the 2 "large yellow cup" drinks which were almost $4 a piece. When I called to inform the place, "Nelson" answered and immediately told me he couldn't help me and to call Doordash. When I told him I ordered from the website direct he said "I don't know what to tell you I'm too busy to do anything". I said I wanted a refund for the drinks and he again told me he "didn't know of what to tell me but he couldn't do it". I asked if I was just supposed to ignore the $10 and he said yes because he couldn't do anything bc of how crazy busy the place was. He was incredibly rude and clearly was ready to hang up on me. I pushed and he finally told me to call back tomorrow and just hung up. Incredibly rude staff, horrible and overpriced food that was delivered in greasy bags and missing items. This place should get zero stars. Sorry I wasted our hard earned money here:(

This location has really went down hill, I recently went to another location and it was everything this location used to be. Fresh rolls, juicy BBQ. It had the ice cream machine and sweet tea out. The food and cleanliness quality has went away and it’s still riding out the Covid train. I really hope this place turns it around as I used to come once a week.
