Lunch on a Saturday. Tried to hit a different restaurant in the area but they had an hour wait. Should have known that since everyone else had a wait and this place was empty that that was a sign. We had a party of nine. Staff was nice only moderately friendly. It didn't feel like the waitress was used to talking to people in this role. Not unfriendly but very timid. Onto the menu... first thing that surprised me is a charge for chips and salsa. That's pretty rare for a Mexican place around here but maybe they are really good quality homemade? Not so fast! These were definitely store bought (Tostitos maybe?) chips and Pace salsa. They didn't end up charging us for them but I think that was just oversight. Another table had ordered chips and gauc but had to leave before they're food came so they sent it our way. The gauc was okay but not very flavorful. Entrees: I tried the chicken Burrito Refrito. It's as greasy but not bad. Came with lettuce, tomato, and sour cream on the side. No rice or beans in this place. Another got corn tortilla tacos. The corn tortillas were soft (good) but they were cold! Just taken right out of the package and filled! Definitely not the most pleasant eating experience. Another got the crab burrito. Imitation crab, which is fine... but advertise it that way. All in all, the food was pretty poor. The only thing that got them 2 stars here was the patio. It's nice and secluded and shaded which was welcome on a 90 degree day.

Food is store bought food. Seems like everything is microwaved. Go somewhere else. Service is slow. We left after the bean dip.

Unfortunately I cannot rate this restaurant any lower than one star. If I could I would. This has to be one of the worst restaurants I’ve ever stepped foot in. The wait was long and it turned out it was because they just weren’t bothering to cook my food. It’s not like they were busy. There was zero seasoning. The salsa was clearly Pace Picante. The chips were generic unsalted and stale. Part of my meal was cold. And the fajita was blacker than black from being burnt. When I complained the manager couldn’t even bother to come talk to me. I would never ever return.

Food was terrible. There was literally less than a tablespoon of meat in one of my three tacos the other 2 barley covered the bottom of the shell. The meat was very salty. When I showed the server the taco she said "oh". I paid full price for the tacos, without a "do you want me to take it back" or "off you bill"?. Not going back...ever

Only have appetizers tonight because no help. Where are the owners they should be helping. I feel bad for the waitress she is at their mercy. We have been waiting for 1 hour for a quesadilla.

Quit going about a year ago. Food and margaritas didn't seem as good. Went back for lunch. Food was excellent like we remembered. We'll definitely be going back. Not sure if it's under new management but something got better.

Hungry and Disappointed. I preface this by saying it's rare I complain publicly and I never expect my bill to be fixed, but I have exceptions...I just want good service. My wife and I were in town from Columbus. We ended up at Casa Barron. We followed a party of 6 older people into the restaurant. A blond female bartender greeted them and told them to sit anywhere. We were ignored for 3 minutes and then greeted with no eye contact and mumbles like she didn't have time for us. I caught "if you want the dining room, the hostess is in the back..." We should have left then. The hostess for the dining room was the only thing nice about this experience. The menu appears authentic and had interesting food options but don't be fooled. Chips are not free unlike all other mexican food places you eat at. They were 99 cents with salsa. Specialty dips were extra - avoid those wastes of money. We got chips and a dip with "funky" in the title. It was ground beef, melted cheese, jalapenos, and raw onions. You could eat it all with 5 chips. It was $6.59. The chips we paid for were gross, stale, and greasy to the point they were chewy. The salsa was definitely store bought. It was good but not fresh. The waitress asked and we told her the chips were stale to which she replied "oops...sorry 'bout that..." And walked away. No "let me get the manager" or "thanks for letting me know so we stop serving old and unsafe food..." Just walked away. They had burgers on the menu. My wife wanted one and asked about sides. The waitress said they were out of burgers even though we had ground beef in our dishes. Made no other recommendations. My wife settled for chicken fajitas. I got the Texas bbq burrito. I like bbq. It sounded good. It was deep fried, I chose steak with cheese, onions, peppers, and covered in bbq sauce. No sides come with it. That's why the menu is weird, most mexican joints offer generous refried beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream on the side automatically. It's all extra here. I also got an order of 3 corn shell soft tacos with ground beef. My wife's fajitas were fine, no seasoning, but fine. They had the most flavor out of anything. It was mostly chicken with a little bit of peppers and onions. The chicken tasted like char from a propane gas grill though. My food was the grossest thing I've had to eat at a restaurant in a long time. My tacos had no flavor except the ground beef that was seasoned with what tasted like a taco seasoning packet from the grocery. And the tortillas were greasy and flavorless. I'm glad I got them though because my burrito was just disgusting. It had potential. It came out on a warm metal silver plate which wilted the bit of lettuce garnish. The burrito looked both crispy and wet with bbq sauce slathered all over it. The corners were crisp but the tortilla dissolved in my mouth like cotton candy. The grease...oh my God the grease. It just oozed out of burrito onto my plate to the point it was swimming. At least a quarter cup of grease. The middle was so soggy that I cut it open just to eat the bits inside the burrito. The bottom was melted to the plate with cheese, probably so it would not slide off the plate from the grease. It was gross and I pushed it aside. The waitress came to get my refill and collect the plates; didn't ask about the food or care that I didn't eat most of my food. If I saw that, it would raise a red flag that my customers were not happy. She didn't care.I saw a lot of positive reviews for this place. Maybe people in Perrysburg don't know what good mexican food is to set the standard. I wanted it to be good. The idea of it was good. In the end I didn't complain to staff. I just wanted to leave. They seemingly didn't care anyway. Pics are of grease after done eating partial burrito. My bill before tip was $49. Not worth it. In a Covid world, restaurants should be glad to have customers. After working in food service & hospitality for years, I have h
