This now called the Fork and Compass. Food runs towards the expensive side.

$30.94 dollars for a 10 oz ribeye and mushrooms…comes with two sides…not worth it…shame on you new restaurant. At least give a special cut like 18oz or something

Now known as Fork and Compass, they have finally put lipstick on a pig. The menu is some of your old favorites with some new items. I had one of my usual go-to steer burger mashed potatoes and broccoli. Burger was undercooked according to my order but still edible, hardly any onion. Mashed potatoes were warm, and broccoli on its way to cold. So, there's not much difference than before. The dining area was very nice (much needed update). The service was good, but the server was not very personable. But good service none the less. $14.99 for the plate, $6 more for "texas size," which I assume is the 16-oz version. So the quick assessment, sit down meal for under $20 new menu items, brighter atmosphere.

We miss the old buffet style dining. Food and service was satisfactory.

We had a nice evening. The waitress was a doll. The atmosphere was laid back and fun. I had steak, cheezey potatoes and a salad. The salad was awesome, very generous amount and quite tasty and fresh. I ordered very well done steak, when I cut it blood was coming out and it wasn't pink close to the edges it was red. I cut further in, just to see if it was better. When I cut into it, I swear, it MOOed! Deep red. The potatoes were nasty. They were tatertots with a little cheese. They tasted and smelled bad. The steak already made my stomach turn and not able to eat .
My son calls Iron Skillet a hidden gem. It's near the truck stops so most customers are traveling. For locals who know it's still open, it's a treat. Home cooked comfort food, a huge dine-in facility, and great customer service. It's combined with a gas station that has many novelty items to choose from.

Stopped in for what I hoped was going to be a good breakfast. Saturday morning. But evidently truckers don't eat on Friday or Saturday. They were closed. Guess the flying J with Dennys is a better option. Atleast they are open and serve food. Petro and TA truck stops are going downhill fast.

If we wanted to go on a diet we’ll definitely decide. They cut the portion and raised the price and 45 minutes for a grilled ham and cheese and fries. And only a few customers at other tables over $12 for nothing

I stopped for gas and decided to stay for lunch. I ordered a club sandwich and even though it didn't look the most appetizing, it tasted really good. The server was attentive and quick. I would have given 5 stars if there were more french fries. The fries were really good.
