On the way home to Nashville from Detroit, my wife and I decided we needed a small snack and some coffee to hold us over until dinner. Found The Bard's Coffee Shop in a quick Google search and took a chance on a short detour off the interstate. Not only did The Bard's have amazing coffee and one of the best bagels I've ever tried, but the entire town of Perrysburg is just perfect. And just across the street, literally, from my previous find, this. Nice and pleasant guy who has family and grew up in KS. So a fun recollection of our geography familiarity. And I used all his honey, this jar anyway! Fun talk. Has a friend with Cessna Skymaster he goes with occasionally. Excellent drink here.

The Bard's Coffee shop was the perfect place to host a birthday brunch. Chris was easy to work with and knowledgeable in every step of the process. The brunch menu he put together included cinnamon rolls, biscuits, quiche, local honey and jam. The atmosphere is quiet, low key and inviting.
