Every time I come here, I thoroughly enjoy myself. It’s my favorite place to go for sushi, but the other foods they have are delicious as well. I’ve made sure to bring my parents, my kids, and friends. We have all enjoyed ourselves each time, the waitstaff is kind and accommodating.

The food here is excellent, all around the best Japanese place in Ohio. Service is good, place is nice and clean. They seem a bit understaffed and the place is a bit small. But it is a must try for sure. No doubt the best place in Piqua!

The atmosphere is amazing. Quiet, lowlit, and beautiful. The service was so pleasant and relaxed, you can tell they definitely give their best! The food looked amazing, tasted amazing, everything about it was phenomenal. The sushi was *so fresh* and melted in your mouth, the tuna spoons were delicious. Always kept our drinks full! Definitely worth checking into!

This was our first visit to Mikado’s and we absolutely loved it! My wife and I shared the Godzilla roll for our appetizer. She then had the vegetarian yaki udon and I had the steak hibachi meal. Everything was delicious and we can’t wait to come back again.

Absolutely delicious! We had the Ohio roll (so, so good), California roll, a side of noodles, and spring rolls. Definitely will be going again and sharing with others! The restaurant is unexpectedly beautiful inside.

I am a huge fan of good sushi, so I was hopeful when I saw this place had 4.7 stars. The service certainly needs improvement. We came in as a party of three. We asked for chopsticks and were only given two pairs because apparently they were out. We asked for a minute to look at the menu and were given about 15 minutes so our waiter could talk to her coworkers with her back toward us.The food also needs improvement. I have had miso soup dozens of times and know exactly what to expect. Their miso was bland and watered down, but the disappointment did not stop there. I ordered 6 rolls of sushi. The seaweed wrap did not taste fresh at all. To add insult to injury, we were not offered a refill on our drinks until it was time for us to leave. There is nothing redeemable about this restaurant. I spent $70 and am full of regret.
